    Hello. So, I've been thinking about this for a while, and it's time.

    I'm leaving.

    I know this may seem sudden, but I've been thinking about this for a while.
    I enjoy uploading, and seeing notifications, but PMC isn't what I remember, and I get stressed when I'm uploading ocs or skins. I like making all sorts of different ocs but in the process I don't want to upset anyone. And I want to make sure my skins are good quality, but I find myself having less motivation for it all now.

    I've met loads of good people here, some nasty ones, and have so many fond memories. But it's too much for me. I don't need the stress of trying to make sure my skins are perfect or the characters are perfect or that I'm even perfect.

    I'm still keeping all of my ocs I've made on here, so don't worry they aren't homeless!

    Thank you for all the fond memories perhaps one day I'll return. But that won't be for a while.

    Well I understand a lot how it is, I also needed to have a break.     Hey, I just want to remind you that it's okay to cut people off. You shouldn't feel guilty especially when you feel like the other person doesn't like you.

    I want you all to remember that a friendship only works if both people care for eachother. And it's okay to end the friendship or relationship if you feel like it's one-sided, it's toxic, or it hurts you.

    No, this isn't @ anyone, this is just a reminder. I've seen a lot of people get hurt from bad friendships, I don't want anyone to feel pressured to be in a friendship they don't enjoy. Please remember you can always talk to me if you'd like, I'm always hear for you guys. Especially for this.

    Heyo, I just wanted to give a little update on why I haven't been as active or uploading.

    My bestfriend's sweet 16 is this year. And as most of you know, I make skinpacks for marketplace, so this year I've been working on a lot of comms and skinpacks so I can get her some nice presents.

    I've also hit a rough patch with my mental health, which of I'm not going to go into detail for as it's personal. But I will be coming on PMC more and hopefully uploading more. <3

    I love how etsy sellers give you a little extra something. For example, I ordered a gummy bear keychain, got some extra things including a clay mask, and an amazingly delicious lollipop.

    I wish bigger companies did this, it really does help you feel more attached to the shops.

    Ya'll, it's 3am, and I' having a crisis over disneyland balloons.

    So last time I was there, they only had light up mickey balloons during, Christmas. But now they seem to have light up balloons all the time. Also they now have a powder light blue balloon.

    And they have little balloon mickey mouse ears.

    Oh, did I mention the balloons are 8-12$? (:

    My father bought me a tablet, today. This means I can finally start doing digital art without having to use my mouse! If all things go well I might consider doing requests and commissions. Super exciting! I plan to post future art on here aswell if I like the art I make ~

    So a little bit ago I saved up and went on an art supply shopping spree, (ordered online) and the packages are starting to come in, I've never been so grateful my dad picks up our mail (we have a p.o box) because if my mom saw how many packages there's gonna be I'd be murdered public execution style.

    It's not my fault this website had interesting looking products, yes, I added them to my cart, gave them my money...- maybe my mom has a point.

    Lots of coloured pencils, I always want to try out different formulas for them. I also got some pens for outlining and pencil case holders for on the go.

    Plus it works out since I end up becoming the coloured pencil test guinea pig and then can tell my friends which the good ones are.

    Hi, there is something that I want to talk about, it's really important to me.

    Comfort skinning. Comfort art. Comfort characters.
    These are all very important, and it breaks my heart when I see others tease or bully others for their comfort. It's one thing to make a lighthearted joke with eachother, aslong as you both are comfortable about it, but harassing is not okay.

    I myself as of late have not been in a good mental state. I've been burying myself in comfort skinning and comfort inspiration picture collecting, it helps me calm down, it helps me get it together and think straight to figure out what I need to do.

    I have many secret characters that I made during the healing process of my sexual trauma, if someone were to bully or harass me over them, claiming they're silly or "stupid", it'd hurt, a lot.

    Please remember even if you do find someone's comfort choice to be silly, or strange, to them, said comfort choice can be the thing that helps them the most. Please never tease them about it. Understand it as best as you can and respect it.

    I apologize if this wallpost is out of nowhere, I do not enjoy writing serious wallposts, but this one is very meaningful to me. Thank you.

    Hi, sorry for no uploads recently, but I do want to talk about this.

    So.. I disappear skin wise, then come back with a boom, then disappear.. I don't find uploading as fun anymore, or interacting with others on this community as lovely as before. I'm not saying that people on here suck, so please don't think I am.

    I've loved my journey and getting to share it with everyone, but I think as time goes on and I grow up, I find myself interested in other things than PMC. I'm not leaving completely, but I'm not going to be as active, this will be the time I go days-weeks without being on. As for the community itself it's changed in a way that it doesn't give me the motivation to be as active or as talkative.. Once again, this doesn't mean I hate the community, it just isn't the same as it was before, there's still lovely people and such, but it isn't for me now as much as it was 3 years ago. I know things changed, but this change isn't for me.

    I personally don't know what the community was like in around 2017-2018 since I wasn't around at that point, but regardless I hope you can find some inspiration and motivation even if it is just a rare upload.

    I apologize for all the ranty/serious wallposts lately, I try not to make too many, and try to only make them when necessary or to cheer people up.

    However, it appears I'm not the only one with this opinion, I believe pmc is going downhill.. not completely, but a bit.

    I notice there's a lot more shitposting and general.. crap, in wallposts lately, and just content in general. I understand we all have our senses of humour, and they might not line up, however we all (including myself) must remember that others look for serious wallposts regarding their friends, and when they have to climb through 20+ shitposts it's very annoying, I'm not going to force anyone to stop, but I ask is when you go to make your 5th shitpost for the day, ask yourself if it's funny, or if it's something you can do without.

    Now regarding the content, I don't mean as in talent is going down, I mean it's starting to become the same as wallposts, just shitposting. This isn't the site I joined 3 years ago, and if it continues to just become another twitter copy, I won't want to stay around, and I'm sure many others can agree.

    Hey, I've been thinking about this for a bit, and I want to share my thoughts on this. Please remember this isn't to anyone in particular, it's just things I've noticed.

    So, I've been seeing a lot of members, mostly younger ones, getting a lot of praise, which is good and all, good to support people, but I've also noticed that it's having negative effects on some of them, giving them anxiety, pressure, ect. This isn't just to younger members of course, but I see it more with them.

    I want to see members, younger and older, do succeed, but we have to remember that a lot of attention can be difficult for younger people since they typically aren't used to it, we don't want them to feel pressured and quit.

    I also just want to say if you're a younger member and you feel pressured, it's okay to take breaks, it's okay to say "I'm uncomfortable." or "I feel too pressured" We shouldn't make people we support feel pressured or uncomfortable.

    This is just my thoughts on that, remember even older members can feel this way, but as I said I see it more with younger members, I'm not excluding older members and I'm sorry if it comes off that way.
