    just a sec, found a higher-resolution skybox, gonna post that once it finishes rendering (might take like 10-20 mins, lots of lighting passes + PBR textures QwQ) Plus I changed sum settings so the blocks shouldn't look smooth anymore but rather blocky

    Also btw everyone, if u for some reason share my utter lack of sanity and find yourself installing OSs onto computers often for some reason, get Ventoy, it's cool, it's a program that lets you set up a USB drive so you just drag and drop all the .iso files for any OS you want (Arch, mint, windows if u really want, etc.), and then you can boot from the drive and choose from any of those isos, it's awesome.

    Oh yeah random list of all the stuff that happened since I was last active:

    - installed arch on my PC
    - installed arch on laptp
    - reinstalled arch on PC to fix fucked partitions
    - installed arch on macbook
    - set up NAS, bluebubbles, and homeassistant server
    - partially set up jellyfin server and i still need to finish that
    - realized Im trans and like all me frends knew alreadi
    - procrastinated on at least 5 seperate 3d modelling/animation projects
    - Played way too much Helldivers
    - somehow survived the first semester of college
    - wrote sum more for the book im making and then returned to procrastination
    - got cool thingi for christmas that lets u carbonate water and so I can make my own root beer and sodas and stuff now

    So, I did sum cool stuff, first of all I made my PC look like windows but it's arch linux
    I actually did that after I did this next thing, but I also got an old Macbook Pro from my dad's work and spent an entire day getting Arch linux working on it then made it look like MacOS


    And then I also got a rly rly old mac-mini, kept MacOS on it and set up a bluebubbles server and now my Linux macbook (and all my other devices) have access to imessage (and bluebubbles has a cool mode specifically for screenshots which is nice)


    Plus I set up GlaD0S on my PC with this project -

    And Im also learning how to rig stuff in blender by rigging a model of the cool Godzilla-human things from the end of Shin Godzilla



    (I also had to manually fix the neck bc the head and neck are not only seperate objects, but they don't line up perfectly and there's a visible gap, or there was, but not anymore)

    Ye, removed basically the entire face section tho and I need to add more bones for the fins on the back (tail done already tho), but ye, rigify is super useful, can't generate the rig tho now that I've modified it so much

    Anyways im now using arch linux and it's awesome, and I'm playing thru pokemon Uranium, and re-playing through the Metroid prime games but with keyboard&mouse controls and HD textures and it's quite fun

    Cool! I tried making a fps game once in Unity, took 2 hours to program a first person movement system following a tutorial and quit lol. I heard Godot is easier to work with but I’ve never tried it.

    Have plans for multiple but for my first game I have a rly cool plan for a game I shall call "Chess 2.0", and another plan for a cool single-player horror game. Don't rly have much coding experience at all so idk if I'll actually finish, but would be fun, should probably make the horror game first, probably less complex than some of the mechanics I have planned for chess 2.0

    Im doing worldbuilding for me friend's dnd campaign AND I HAVE MADE AWESOME LORE I AM SO PROUD OF THIS WORLD. but anyways recently I decided to yeet the moon, give the world rings, and replace the moon with the massive corpse of a dead eldritch god and instead of a full moon once a month the corpse drifts closer for about 30 hours once each month and messes with reality itself.

    Also cloud gnomes have aetherium-powered mechs that get deployed titanfall-style, elves are only immortal because of a bargain with mad eldritch gods, vampyres live in an underwater bioshock-style city, and dwarves have stone for flesh and magme for blood and are driven by instinct to meld with the walls of a cave for all of eternity after a few hundred years instead of dying of old age and they remain fully conscious forever.
