Mine was Pokemon Red for the gameboy color. After that I got my hands on Crystal, also for the color. My favorite one is Crystal, though I lost interest in the series after Diamond and Pearl.

I personally find Sky annoying (Probably due to all the yelling) but he has my respect for gaining such a large fan base. Some of his fans can get extremely out of hand but I don't believe most are like that. (I may be wrong, but I haven't really seen any Butter spammers as of late)

But does Steve have anything else that makes him badass? Link has beaten much more enemies then Steve. Ganondorf and Majora beat the Ender Dragon and the Wither.

I think the most badass character I can think of would have to be the Lone Wanderer from Fallout 3. He/she gave you nice customization, lived in a hellish wasteland, fought monsters that could crush your average human. He/she had a variety of weapons at their disposal, if they could scavenge/buy them, but they made use with them. The Lone Wanderer helped with the defeat of the Enclave, along with escaping an alien spaceship.

More mobs, more weapons, armor, blocks and combat. I would love if they tweaked the blocking mechanism to make it feel like it actually does something.

There are a ton of tutorials teaching you how to shade. I will list a few below

Also, if you don't have a reliable skinning program, I suggest using MCSkin3D by Paril.

I would say the A Song of Ice and Fire series. They may not be very kid friendly, but they are phenomenal.

I know you said no downloads, but there aren't really any good skinning programs that are online. I highly suggest you use MCSKIN3D by Paril. It is a fantastic program and is fairly easy to get used to.

Friendly advice, if you want a skin request, telling people they MUST do it doesn't seem very convincing. You also would need to post more detail as to what you want in the skin/avatar. There are many skin shops on PMC that could odds are do your skin request.

I prefer Melee. I enjoyed the characters much more *cough* mewtwo *cough*
For a texture pack I would enjoy seeing Super Smash Bros for the N64 due to the textures having a bit more pixelated appearance. Melee would also be cool, in my mind a mix between the three would be the best. For sounds, you would most likely have to find covers of some songs from the game and then ask the poster for permission to use it.
