Ok, so as I said in my last wall post I was considering doing a skin series based on the amazing from the new Wonder Woman movie and decided to do it. However, it's been taking a lot longer than I expected to actually make the skins. I'm still fairly busy and haven't spent a ton of time skinning. So long story short I am doing it but it's taking longer than I wanted. Sorry.

And yes part of the problem is still that I make lots of new skin designs and don't get around to shading the ones I already have... xP

So yesterday I saw the new Wonder Woman movie. I thought it was really good. And needless to say, the amazon warrior outfits looked pretty darn cool. I've been considering doing a short skin series based on some of them. What do you guys think?

It's been a while since I got on PMC so I thought I'd better give you guys a quick update:

I just completed my end-of-year exam for my biology course and I think I did pretty well. Now that I'm done with that I'll have a bunch more free time to work on skinning and stuff. However, I have been pretty stressed out lately so I'll need some time to recover before I really get back into things. I imagine it'll be about a week, maybe two if things are bad, before I start making skins more frequently. In the meantime, I'll still be answering comments and PMs so don't worry, I'll still be here. ;)

Just a quick update for you guys:
You've probably noticed I've been pretty inactive for a while. It's the end of the year and I have a couple tests and a play that are coming up faster than I'd like. I've been pretty stressed the last week and have needed to focus on other things for a while. However, as soon as I'm done with my biology class I'll have a lot more time and energy on my hands that I can hopefully use for skinning. And I do have another skin that's almost finished right now, it'll get posted in a day or two assuming nothing crazy happens. c:

You have to add the widget to your profile page by clicking the "+widget" button at the right hand side of the screen right below the banner, then at the top of the widget there's a field where you can write wall posts.

Well I just checked my pmc page and realized I've been on pmc for a whole year now! :D
I was really trying to have a special skin ready to post for the occasion but I've barely started designing it. I knew my one year mark was coming up but it came way too fast. :P I'll probably wind up posting another skin or two before I get to my one-year special. Oh well.

Update on that one story I said I was writing but STILL haven't published: Working on it. I've drafted up to chapter 5 but I'm still largely unclear on some of how the ending's gonna play out and I don't want to publish something that later gets changed. I'm gonna try to sort out some of those details so I can go ahead and get the first couple chapters out because those are at a state where I'd be ok sharing them. So still no planned release date but definitely moving forward!

Also I am working on skins but school + stuff + this one play I'm in have been taking up time and energy. :P

I just got back from the party for my 16th birthday. My actual birthday was about a week ago but the party had to wait a week due to scheduling blah. It was at a laser tag place and I had sooo much fun! We played two games, I won the first and came in second in the second one. I'm pretty worn out so I'm just gonna lie in bed and do something for a while now... c;

Ok guys. I need to rant a bit. Literally the worst thing just happened to me.
I was playing skyblock on a server using my new Rey skin I just made and so this one guy said he was having a skin comp. Only two other people joined, but I was eliminated the first round. So I though "Eh, everyone has their own tastes" and went on my way. Then later another person had another skin comp and I joined hoping I'd do better but I was eliminated first round again. At this point I just guessed I was having bad luck or something and decided it wasn't worth it to bother with them.

But then that's when it happened. The guy who hosted the first skin comp said he was having a drop party as spawn and I thought I might as well go. So the guy who was hosting was throwing diamonds into a group of people and I had just managed to get a few when he said "Go away Rivanna those aren't for you and your ugly skin!"

Well I got mad. Ok, so it's not my best skin ever but it's not ugly. I can't believe someone would do something like that! I don't think it came out that bad, but quite a few people on that server apparently do. Personally I think they just have bad taste or something but it still hurts to hear someone say terrible stuff about your work. If my Rey skin actually is bad then I guess I should go and fix it but if not then could someone please go tell those haters to shut up already?

Just remember that you have a fan base on a site that people name when they're trying to get server ranks, and they're just lowlifes who have nothing better to do than trash people on a sandbox video game.

So I just saw the trailer for the new Star Wars movie that's coming out this Christmas and IT WAS AWESOME!!! I am sooo hyped! I can't wait to see what happens! ^o^ Anyway, I thought I might as well make a skin of Rey to celebrate! I've already completed the design so all that's left is shading. I expect I'll finish it in a day or two. :D

MEETUP ALERT!

So you know how I hit 400 subs a while back and still haven't planned a meetup? I think it's about time I fix that. I'll post another skin soon with the final meetup details but for now I'm thinking it will be Sunday, April 23 at 3:00-ish EST on the Mineplex server. For those of you who don't already know, the server address is Mineplex.com. When you join type /server Rivanna16-1 to get to the private server for the meetup.

Just a note, these details may wind up getting changed if it turns out I forgot something. Hopefully that won't be the case. As I said before, soon I'll post a skin with the final meetup details in the description.

You know how a while ago I said I was working on writing a story I was going to post here? And you know how I (obviously) haven't posted it yet?

I just wanted to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about it, I've just been kinda busy and had a case of writers block for a bit. :p With any luck I'll be back to writing/editing it again soon. Even so, I don't really have much of an idea when the first couple chapters will be up.

So pretty much don't get super impatient about the story, it won't be up for a while, but I am still working on it and hope to post it sometime in the not too far away future. ^.^

So I just looked at my stats and saw that I now have 400 SUBSCRIBERS!! ^o^ Thank you everyone!

This means I'll be having another meetup soon. I haven't picked a date and time yet, but it will probably be sometime afternoon EST on a weekend on the Mineplex server. Last time barely anyone showed up and I'm hoping this time will be better. :)

I may have misused the term gameplay, but it's only wifi issues. It still makes me very upset because I own this extremely powerful and beefy desktop, yet I have trouble managing in-game because of my wifi affecting the connection. ;o;

And I forgot to mention, congratulations on 400 subscribers! I'm really going to try with all my might to make this meet up, as I'm sure it'll be LOADS of fun!! :D

I reaaaly wanted to go last time, but my wifi decided what I was to do in the end. I was hoping it'd be better by now, although unfortunately I won't have better gameplay until the summer. I'll see if it'll withstand for long enough to make it to the meet up this time, though!

Finally got another skin posted! That certainly took me long enough...

I realized recently that my problem isn't only not having a lot of time for skinning, it's also that when I do have time I spend it on designing new skins rather than shading completed designs. Right now I have like four fully completed base skin designs that I haven't gotten around to shading yet. I'll work on shading and uploading those next.

Update: I literally just made ANOTHER base skin design... So you know how people sometimes have problems with not enough inspiration? I seem to have the opposite. I keep using up the energy I could use shading something on making new designs! XD

Skinning is moving slowly. It's been a few days since I worked on shading the skin I'm currently making, and I'm not really sure when I'll get it finished. Sorry again that I've been inactive for ages. x.x
