4 years of dealing with him being a massive narcissist who only cared about himself and sports, zero filter, drove one of the nicest teachers in the building to the breaking point by being such a bad student, crashed his car going SEVENTY in a FORTY FIVE (I know the road he wrecked on, it is a damn mystery how he even got to that speed), constantly claiming to be better than everyone else for literally no reason, just overall a massive headache to be around. I never had the displeasure of directly interacting with him and i am forever grateful, but oh man just sharing classes with him was a nightmare.
shame I never got to see him in the wood shop, a friend of mine did. funny thing about shop classes, you can visibly see who's putting in effort. believe it or not, he wasn't. he actually managed to get kicked out of that class after he burned out the big drum sander (after several warnings and several attempts from the instructor to show him how to use it)
i genuinely hope he's improving as a person right now. it feels unlikely, but a lot can happen in a year, so there's a chance.
