    a friend of mine tried to give me a name in her language, one where the meaning would fit my personality...but she said it was hard to find because she couldn't find any to describe me.

    so my laptop hasnt been able to connect to my school wifi this week, which is a bit weird bc it worked right before break.
    my guess is i somehow got myself blocked with just the software alone, but i'm too scared to visit the school IT department bc they don't tell you why you got blocked. (but i need wifi for a school assignment on thursday so i guess im kinda forced to go)

    i havent seen a lot of them kpop fans on here, but if any happens to see this, mind helpin a girl out?

    my korean school is holding a festival where we can show off some talents related to our culture, and among those are kpop dances. as someone whos recently gotten into it, i'm considering submitting an entry but really dont know which song to do because you have to be okay with the possibility of performing it in front of the school.

    if anyone has any recs (must be k-pop to stick to the theme) please send them out <3

    (p.s. dont suggest any illit ones because last time i tried it my friends made fun of me because i cant act cute for life xD)

    so i, someone who just started getting into dance took about 20 minutes to learn a 30 second choreo (1:30-2:00 for those watching the vid).

    meanwhile, my friend took 15 minutes to learn 80 SECONDS WORTH OF CHOREO (beginning to 1:20, yes this is a different song).

    am i just slow at memorizing or is she insanely talented?? personally i think its both but lmk what you think!

    how long has your friend been taking dance lessons for? because, unless the friend is crazy good at memorizing things more easily, and is just a natural at it, it may have to do with both how long you’ve been taking dance/doing that kind of style and how well you can memorize things.
    take this from someone who’s been doing dance for thirteen years (since I was little). we’ve been starting to learn our dances for our recital next June, and it does typically take a while to get the choreography down but with lots of practice and muscle memory of repeatedly doing the dance, it gets significantly easier to remember the steps, arms, locations on the stage you must be at, etc.

    The late night thoughts are hitting hard tonight, but for some reason they're weirdly hopeful. I dunno what the future holds, but damnit, I've survived all that it's thrown my way so far. This world is too beautiful for me to give up now. I got sunrises to admire, dogs to pet, stars to gaze upon, rain to run through, beautiful songs to hear, and there is no way in hell I'm gonna let anyone or anything stop me from doing so. The road ahead will get tough, but so will I. Bring it ON.

    my poor brother has gotten locked out of the house while my parents were busy three different ways in the last week, so my parents wanted to take him to conveyor sushi and ice cream. i also promised to bring back some soda from school tmrw as long as he didnt show my parents bc they dont want him to have too much sugar.

    so today we got out of the car and i accidentally slammed his finger in the door.

    I FEEL FREAKING TERRIBLE. THERES LITERALLY DENTS IN HIS FINGERS. HE DIDNT EVEN GET THE FOOD THAT MY PARENTS PROMISED BECAUSE IT HURT SO MUCH WE HAD TO HEAD HOME. IM LITERALLY CRYING I FEEL SO. FREAKING. BAD.
