Well, the last post is related to my break for an indefinite period.

I want to thank the people who inspire me and those who often support me.

I've met a lot of members on this site whose work is great, but only two of them have inspired me to improve my skinning style.
You know them very well: Hibiki Ekko and Aspirin60.
They also support me. Thank you very much.

And these guys have been supporting me for a long time, for which I am also very grateful to them - Igor Tio, Reimuu and 5chi5m-9.

Before starting the topic of this post, I will try to briefly explain what the point is.

At the beginning of my journey here, I made simple skins.
Just look at where I started

and what I'm doing now.

I thank two people for my progress. Hibiki Ekko for inspiring me to use shading and Aspirin60 for inspiring me to improve my style (Please don't ping them. There will be a thank you post later where I'll tag them).

In 2020, I made simple skins even by the standards of my skills at that time. I published about ten skins a day, and the theme of these skins was popular then - this is the Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss and Undertale (by the way, Helluva Boss and Undertale are still popular now, which cannot be said about the Hazbin Hotel. Its popularity has fallen). That's why they started to notice me. I received a lot of support and the number of subscribers increased every day. I supported all the subscribers then and everyone was happy, but the very moment came.

First burnout. Back then I really thought I would be done making skins forever, but here I am.
And from that moment on, problems began for which I was mostly to blame.
Periodically changing my nickname, I wanted less and less to do what my subscribers expected of me, and of course, who I am is my personality.
All this led to me being forgotten. The amount of support was decreasing and like the icing on this cake - I deleted everything I was working on.

At the moment I have 480 subscribers, but this is just a number and now I will explain why.

A long time ago I made a post in which there were screenshots of inactive subscribers; they have not logged in for at least a year. There are only 55 of them, which is only 11.5% of my subscribers. I recently implemented a bad idea and subsequently returned almost everything as it was and this allowed me to see something. After I returned support to all the subscribers I could, a maximum of 48 people said “thank you” to me, although this was not necessarily because I corrected my mistake.

What is 48 people? This is only 10% of subscribers. And so we got to the fact that now only 3% of subscribers support me (you know them because I often thank them). If we take all this into account, it turns out that I have no questions about 25% of subscribers.
However, the remaining 75% do not care about me and again I repeat that this is mainly my problem. After all, now I rarely do what they want from me.

[ Updated part: Yes, I know why there is so little support now. I publish works during times of low activity, but understand, I live in another country, with a different time zone, and waiting until one in the morning for the skin to be seen by as many as possible is not a good prospect.
In addition, the number of skins that I make has decreased significantly, and this is all because I have improved my skills and now spend not a maximum of an hour on creating one skin, as before, but a minimum of three hours. And I don’t do them every day, but when I have time and desire for it. Those same 3% of subscribers help me with motivation to make skins, for which I am very grateful to them.
I also rarely take on requests - yes, this is true, but usually when I say “guys, I’m accepting requests again,” no one writes to me. This is also partly my problem because I almost always refuse. This would not happen if I received requests when I have time and desire for them. So I'm not the only one here who doesn't get the timing right. Now I will clearly outline the situation regarding requests. I'll be taking a break very soon to focus on my group and the jam. Do you think I can accept requests? No. I will tell you more about what I will do in the last post on my wall. ]

But even if I try to return everything to the way it was before, it’s unlikely to change anything, and then I want to decide for myself what to do. And from now on I will only support those who support me. There is bad news for other subscribers - it won't be like it was before.

I will no longer actively support you if you receive a diamond from me and a favorite, this means that I really liked your work and nothing more.

It's just that these two words in my native language are absolutely the same, but have different meanings in context. I'm not a musician and I'm not in a band. I have a group on the PMC dedicated to my favorite game series.

Buddy, just because you don't do what's expected of you doesn't mean your work is bad. I and your remaining subscribers like your work (they just forgot it, but they will remember it).
Keep doing what you like and don't regret anything.

I am sorry you've been going through this.

I know that back when I was WDGaster2, there was a time period that I had a similar experience.

I started producing skins/mob skins based off what I thought my subscribers expected of me, as well as latching on to themes that seemed popular, all for boosting the amount of support I had.

The constant striving for a larger number of subscribers and the expansion of my support only caused stress and burnout.

Eventually, I stopped caring about the pursuit of gaining more subscribers, and just started making whatever I wanted.

This of course caused me to lose some subscribers, but some remained, and eventually others subscribed based off me just being myself.

This is what gave me the most satisfaction.

Also, on a bit of a side note, I didn't know you were in a band. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of music do you make?

Maybe you're right that this is just an idea from a fevered brain, like they did it for fun. But in this case, they do not understand the potential of such a move. The theme of their jam is very relevant, everyone has done strange things at least once and this will allow them to keep the jam at the top of the list for several years. And this is not because the topic is some kind of super interesting, but because in a few years this jam will have a lot of views, participants and works that will be included in it.

That's not the point. I know how to extend the jam for 200+ days. But how the hell were they able to extend this for several years? It’s not possible to do this in a jam with a rank, maybe it’s only possible in a jam purely for participation? I think I'll do something similar for my group.
