My experience is with Android and WIndows 10 only.
On those systems, if you delete Minecraft or install a beta version over it, the worlds get wiped out.
XBOX consoles run on a custom version of Windows, if you are able to access the hard drive directory from a Windows PC, I would start off by making a back-up copy of the drive to the computer, and then searching for it manually.
Second you might be able to do a recovery of the XBOX hard drive to the Windows computer using a recovery tool, then you'd have to go through all of the recovered files looking for world files, which at least on Windows Minecraft look pretty random.
I don't know if it would work for sure, but it might be worth a shot.
On my website, I go over some of the steps for using recovery tools on a Window's PC. Again, if you were to try a recovery tool from a Windows computer connected to the XBOX, you would run the software on Windows, pointing the disk to be recovered as the XBOX hard drive, and the hard drive being recovered to as the Windows PC. It wouldn't work trying to do it on a copy of the hard drive you might make to the PC, because the software needs to read hidden areas of the hard drive on the XBOX.

Sounds like you are looking for the extended data that different blocks and entities can use in Minecraft Bedrock.
They do exist and are generally a number followed at the end of a command code.
I haven't ever seen a website or video that gives the entire list of possibilities, I imagine if an updated book is one day written by Mojang it might appear there.
An example is given in this tutorial that I currently only have on my Rumble channel, which shows rotating items.

But they can also be used to change an items status on/off, different stages of progression if it's an item for example like a tree sapling which can grow into a full tree. Even when looking at the command options in the chat menu using back slash (/) you can use them to reach some additional level menus that are otherwise not viewable via the chat menu.

Another Bedrock example would be creating a sign and changing its text color within the same command line using a color code.

You can't use Java based commands in Bedrock.
For Bedrock you'd have to write sequences of connected individual commands.
I've seen something similar done, but it was being done using several command blocks that were set to repeat so that all of a specific kind of entity received the desired weapon slot modifications as they spawn.
If you get it to work, please post an update.
By the way, those WIKI's often say it's Bedrock and then show Java.
Used to drive me crazy when I first started coding for Bedrock, cause lots of the things that work in Java can not be done in Bedrock as far as using command codes.

LOL this was funny.
There is no way Java is going to replace Bedrock.
1. Bedrock allows cross-platform playing.
2. Unlike Java, Bedrock is made for easy integration with the Windows and XBOX environment. No way Microsoft is going to kill cross platform connectivity between Windows XBOX integration and XBOX console integrations.
3. Bedrock is the development platform being used by those of us who are developers. Microsoft makes money off the worlds we develop and release to the marketplace.
4. Bedrock now contains the Minecraft Educational enhancements of NPC characters which greatly benefits those of us who are developing Minecraft adventures, mini-games, etc.

However, I do believe that the Java version will eventually be replaced by Bedrock for the same reasons above, but also because
1. JAVA is an outdated language environment
2. JAVA has a lot of security flaws.
3. JAVA addition is not cross platform multiplayer

This is why you now get both JAVA and BEDROCK together when you buy Minecraft, and why Microsoft gave JAVA version to Bedrock owners and Bedrock to JAVA owners.

My theory is based on what I already read from Microsoft and Mojang when they began giving everyone the other version of the game so they had both versions, and that is, they had developed a tool that would allow Java worlds to be translated into Bedrock worlds. It still had some issues they were working out at the time, but every indication was the intention to make it easy to move from Java to Bedrock. Not Bedrock to Java.

This is a known bug that's been around for a while now and it's a big pain in the butt. (This is for the Bedrock Version)

I had to come up with this solution back in September 2022 and it worked fine up until the last 2022 Bedrock release. 1.19.51 which has recreated the bug, so I'll have to do the fix again.

It's hard to beat Enchanted Goldens Apples, since they give your so many temporary boosts to health, strength, etc.

I've been working on the Washington Has Fallen Minecraft Adventure for the past three years, and we haven't had any issues with our original early builds as far back as 1.9 not being updated automatically without issues when opened in newer versions.
The only issues we had were during one update, colored writing on signs and books stopped working, but it's been fixed now.
Also, we haven't observed any issues with the recent changes to levels, biomes, etc. either. Washington Has Fallen has missions at ground level, below ground level down to the final bedrock layer, and even within the Nether, and they all work like they should.

However, what I would do if I were you, is backup all your worlds to an external hard drive or flash drive (if you don't have a lot) so they are safe. Then once you confirm they are backed up safely, delete the worlds from Minecraft and and install a copy of the single world that you are concerned about and test it in the latest version of Minecraft.

Hi Mitch221!

Check to see if your windows security is blocking the app from installing.
You may need to give Minecraft approval.
This is part of the Ransomware protection features.

Look in Account Protection under protection history


Click to view them until / If you find Minecraft. If you find Minecraft, click on Controlled Folder Access.



Give the app access to your C: Drive or Whatever Folder that it's access is being blocked for.



Don't know for sure if this will resolve your specific issue, because your posts has all those little extra characters, presumably because you copied and pasted from somewhere else, it distracted me while reading your post, but folder access issues are common in Window's 10.

Today RGAP Creative put out a new Beta Release just in time for the Easter Weekend.
We believe that we have now fixed, repaired and added new code as needed to rid the Wahoo (Wuhan) China Virus Lab Mission
of all currently known bugs. I personally played through the mission to make sure it was working. Lots of fun.
If you are at all familiar with the old Zork Adventure Game, you'll have a fair idea of how we built this world mission that continues to change and shift as you work your way through it puzzles.

Personally, It's one of my favorite missions in the Washington Has Fallen adventure.

About "Other scripted events like spawning mobs and giving the player items."


My most helpful resource when beginning was: Jigs Guide: Redstone Basics By Jigarbov Productions world in the Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace.



1. In settings turn on cheats for the world and set game mode to Creative, turn on View Location



2. In world chat box type the following to get a command block

/give @s command_block

3. In the chat box, begin typing a command code and the game will give you hints about possible options.


EXAMPLES:

/effect @p mining_fatigue


/give @p stone_pressure_plate


/Kill @p




4. Either recreate the code in the command block text box. or copy and paste the code. Sometimes i write the code down on paper if i am going to type the code into the command block.

5. Decide how to trigger it = NPC, Pressure Plate, Lever, Button, "Detector Rail" cart track, Daylight sensor, "Observer" motion sensor, Redstone, repeater, comparator, target block, Redstone machine using a trap chest

Note: Command blocks triggered by a repeater can activate two command blocks stacked (repeater has to be at bottom command block)



Note: A repeater can be used in between multiple command blocks to create a chain of events from a single trigger method




NOTE: Button, lever, pressure plate can trigger a command block through one block attached to it without needing a separate Redstone source. Like through a wall or floor.

Note: To trigger a door or trap door, pistons - you can make a command block that has a /setblock at a location with a repeater connected to a block attached one block below the side of a door or trapdoor.

EXAMPLE: /Setblock 9 34 1022 redstone_block
this lets you trigger an action from a distance.


Use Direction codes to Rotate Doors, Buttons, Levers, Blocks, NPC, etc.

Note: One very important technique I use is setting up a kill event trigger to prevent to a loop of events creating an uncontrollable reaction. I do this by making a command block that sets a Redstone block that triggers the actual event command block. The event command block includes a command block that removes the Redstone block that triggered the event with the air block Example: /setblock 12 45 99 air



The air block i set a timer for in the command block "Ticks" box.

Depending on what i am creating, i may make the air block remove the repeater or pressure plate that triggers the events command block so it can not be triggered again until i restore the repeater when the player leaves that area through a door or walks across a different pressure plate or another trigger. This is really important in rooms where a mob or group of mobs are being spawned into the same room to engage the player. Otherwise, the mobs will walk on the pressure plate triggering it in an unstoppable loop of spawning mobs.



Note: The command block can be made into a repeating block that does not need a Redstone trigger, or that keeps repeating once triggered. NEVER use a Spawn Event with a repeating command block because if it gets out of control, it will spawn so many mobs or items that it will eventually crash your game, realms, or server. It took six months for me to figure out how to kill that kind of event when I was developing on the Fantasy Realm server.



Note: Only work on a copy of the world, not the actual world. Then when you get what you did working right - change the name of the copy world to the non-copy name with an added number or letter. Make a copy of that new updated world and work on it. like creating Game Saves. This will make it so you only lose the most recent world update, if something goes wring, instead of everything. Adventures require tons of coding and events, so its easy to break things. For example, you might accidentally break a command block from a previous work session while working on a new event within the same area. Having a previous version allows you to go back and see what you broke and replace it. Otherwise you won't remember what it was supposed to do.



NOT GATE

One thing I absolutely recommend you learn is about GATES. The Not-Gate is a switch that can reverse power an event, so that when the powered item or path is broken, the unpowered path on its opposite side becomes powered. It took me a year of practice to understand how to put it in to normal use in a mini-game or adventure, but it's saved me hundreds and hundreds of hours since I learned how to use it.
No one had any useful explanations about it, always complicated wording.But its really so simple.
A Not-Gate is only basically only four blocks.




A Redstone wire in front of a block with a Redstone torch attached that has redstone_wire running to a command block, repeater or something else, and the opposite side is just red_wire that goes to an active Redstone power source.
When the active power source is broken, the circuit on the opposite becomes powered to whatever you are triggering.
For example: Lets say you place this under a house floor. The objective in the mission is to blow up the house with dynamite. When the dynamite placed above destroys the floor, it also destroys the powered Redstone torch underneath on the blue square. The circuit is broken so the torch on the opposite side of the block becomes powered and triggers the event, opens the door, whatever. Just make sure to run enough redwire away from the powered torch to the (wood cube in the photo) so that only the redwire and/or torch are destroyed. Explosions are just one of a zillion possibilities. Its the easy way to explain how the circuit works.
This is required knowledge for traps, or areas where something has to be destroyed or exploded to trigger the event.


Most Redstone Machines use some kind of a Not-Gate.

Try putting it in a folder and zipping the file using a free program or app like 7ZIp, then upload it.
Personally, I upload my MCWorld files to DropDox, Google Drive or Microsoft's One Drive and then create a "shared file link". Then I give the link to it wherever I am making it available on Planet Minecraft. This lets me more easily update it if I want to in the future.
i like dropbox the best, but I have 15 gigs of free storage.
