I usually listen to music when I lose concentration while I work. Other times I listen to it just to enjoy the melodic structures of certain songs.

A.) Nope. I watch horror game youtubers to sleep lol.

B.) Depends. If one play = 1 song, then I listen to a lot of music (probably between 50-100 plays per day), but if we're just counting songs, I listen to a handful a day, but I listen to them on repeat.

C.) I listen to everything. Between all my likes lists and music I have locally on my computer, I have everything from classical piano music to super heavy djent bands and everything in between.

D.) Favorite genre is probably lo-fi hip hop.

Some of the things I've been listening to recently, for those curious (this doesn't represent my entire taste in music):

    Carson Elliott - SEPARATE WAYS

    JVKE - Golden Hour

    YOASOBI「海のまにまに」

    Artificial Intelligence Bomb

    N.Y Rush

    FIFTY FIFTY (피프티피프티) - 'Cupid'

    YOASOBI「アイドル」

    Undefeatable (feat. Kellin Quinn)

Depends on the shader mod. Like with Iris you could run a decent amount of the shaders available, but not all are compatible. With optifine, theres more compatibility, but your framerate may vary.

    BSL

    Complementary

Maybe SEUS V11 and SEUS Renewed

    Chocapic13's shaders

Theres a full list here if you want to test some out: https://shaders.fandom.com/wiki/Shader_Packs

    My current build:

Sun's Grace: Leeching, Void Strike, Critical Hit

Wither Armor: Thorns, Chilling, Luck of the Sea

Sabrewing: Critical Hit, Void Strike, Overcharge

Boots of Swiftness, Death Cap Mushroom, and Soul Healer for artifacts.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: My pet is the arctic fox

Overall my power level right now is 116 and I can comfortably do Apocalypse +2 without issues.

I personally use a few different plugins. For creative worlds, I use a plot plugin like PlotSquared so that people can't just go around destroying others' buildings. I also limit access to said creative world to some kind of higher rank than a guest rank, as a good amount of people just go into the creative world to use potentially harmful items that could crash a server.

For survival, I use a combination of CoreProtect, GriefPrevention, and a chest locking plugin such as BlockLocker or Lockette. GriefPrevention allows people to protect their survival houses from any kind of damage from other players, and CoreProtect is an amazing tool that logs pretty much every interaction players make, which is great for instances where someone doesn't use GriefPrevention claims.

Aside from plugins, having a trusted staff team is also vital for catching/preventing griefers and hackers.

Unfortunately due to a global chip shortage, right now isn't the best time to upgrade your system unless you want to spend a LOT of money. That said, I believe the RTX 2060 Super is a great card (when it's affordable, that is). It can run most games you throw at it (assuming you have a CPU that can handle high framerates as well) and can run Minecraft with shaders at decent framerates, with some settings adjustments, and depending on the shader pack/shader mod used.

I personally got the game on December 20th, 2010, the day beta 1.0 released. My oldest brother and a few of my friends played it a lot, so I decided to try it out. Have been playing it regularly ever since.

Only other suggestion I have is to try using previous versions of optifine. I had a similar issue where optifine G8 would crash but G7 didn't.

When using OptiFabric, you also need to include the extracted Optifine mod jar from the Optifine installer. If ya have that and its still doing weird things, I got nothing :/

As long as it has PCI-E connectors on it (and maybe a power connection slot? some GPUs can get power directly from the PCI-E slot) You should be fine. You might have cooling issues if it doesn't come with some kind of fan on it, though

I do have a lot of hacked clients, but I use them for the sole purpose of testing them on my own server to see what the different hacks can do and to show my staff so that we can all learn what to look out for when someone happens to be hacking.

In the video, the BSL shaders are being used.

In terms of recommended specs to run shaders with decent framerates:

GPU: GTX 1660 super (or AMD equivalent) minimum, RTX 20 series card recommended

CPU: I'd personally go with a Ryzen 5 or an intel core i5. Odds are you wont bottleneck the GPU with either of the CPUs.

RAM: 16 GB in the machine, with 6-8 GB allocated to the game

Theres certainly other things that could be added, but more passive mobs making a fuller feeling world is definitely on the top of my list personally.

I think a whole set of new passive animal mobs would be great. Right now the game seems a bit lacking in that area, and certain biomes seem pretty empty at times because of it.

I had similar worries 5 years ago when Microsoft bought Mojang. Microsoft isn't going to drop java edition since it still has potential for profit, and they know a large portion of their player base is on java.

In terms of in-game monetization, I do want Microsoft to keep their hands off the game, but that's not gonna happen.

However, Microsoft obtaining Mojang is probably one of the best things to happen to Minecraft. Its allowed the game's expansion beyond just the java and bedrock editions of the game with games like Minecraft Story Mode (RIP that game lol), Minecraft: Builders and Biomes, Minecraft Earth, and Minecraft Dungeons.

And with the recent announcement that java edition users will need to migrate to a Microsoft account, I see the game improving. Its most likely not going to happen, but needing a Microsoft account might pave the way for java edition and bedrock edition to have official cross play. All the botnets that plague servers and all the 'free alt' accounts will also be (at least temporarily) eliminated, which is a net positive for the player base overall.

EDIT: Some of these mods might not work on the newest version of Minecraft (checked after I made this post)

If Optifine doesn't work for you, you could install Fabric, Phosphor, Lithium, and Sodium. They don't have all the fancy bells and whistles that Optifine has (like shaders and extra video settings) but your performance should see a drastic bump.

You can get Fabric here: https://fabricmc.net/

Phosphor, Lithium, and Sodium can be downloaded in these links:

    Phosphor: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/phosphor
    Lithium: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/lithium
    Sodium: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/sodium

Shoot me a message if you need help with installing any of these!
