i really like the idea of it but theres SOO many playable ones.... i wanna make sure i actually like how they look & i dont wanna make them just for the sake of making them
No plans to add AI-powered skins and not sure why any established community with user-generated content would want AI competing with raw creativity of the community itself...
Last I checked the admins have no plans to add anything AI related to the site, even if they wanted to the members and even the other staff members would be very opposed to it so it would likely still not get added.
As far as I know there isn't an "official" stance on it besides the part of the rules disallowing it from being used in submissions (Do not: Generate content with programs. You can use tools to aid in the creation of your content. It can't solely be generated by an automated process or algorithm.) It does seem very unlikely any sort of AI generated skins tool would be added when we have a rule specifically to prevent people posting stuff made in that sort of way
just uploaded my skin of my vtuber in the event i do any future events/skin fight or in the event anyone does a fanskin of me heho... proper reference images of my vtuber are in the description too! :3
obviously no one is obligated to make any taz skins. i was looking through my old skins and saw my persona from years ago and i was just kind of like "oh yeah, i wonder if personas & fanskins are still a part of planetminecraft culture here"
general PSA: please do not repost my skins onto other sites. when i make skins specifically for vtubers & their community to enjoy, it makes me sad to see other people taking the skins and claiming as their own

ive done nearly 100 skin commissions in the last 2 months, so that takes up a lot of my time, but i've been doing fanskins for streamers and it feels good to get back into making skins for experimental purposes, and back into making the stuff I wanna make
