*insert joke about people who use BSD and Solaris*

(You don't need to add those or anything btw; they're somehow even more niche than Linux)

Regarding Steam, the Steam application actually has official Linux distro packages, and games that cannot be played on Linux distros by default can be played if you go to the settings and turn on "Steam Play" in the Compatibility section. This will install something called Proton Hotfix which makes Linux distro users able to play many games without official Linux distro support. Of course, it should be noted that not all games will necessarily work perfectly through this method, but it's still generally pretty solid.

Technically, Linux is not an operating system, but only a part of one. Linux is the kernel, which is the core part of the operating system that manages everything that goes on, while the operating system, more often than not, is GNU (the G is not silent.) Hence, why some people prefer to call it GNU/Linux. However, there are some Linux distributions which don't rely on GNU stuff, such as Alpine Linux. Don't feel pressured to change the poll or anything, I'm just stating this stuff for the record.

(I use an Ubuntu and Windows dual boot on my main computer. I also have an Android phone and a Raspberry Pi.)

I don't know if I've ever actually said that but apparently in the TravisaInc lore I did.

I don't exactly know you all that well aside from seeing you around in some places here and there, but from what I gather you seem like a generally good person.

    Very odd.

I decided to look this up and it seems I did find some other people talking about the site this file came from. Apparently, it's existed at least since 2021 and has reportedly had other oddities. I saw a Reddit thread from around a year ago where the OP talks about going to an article on the site which had an unrelated image (a photograph of a 1935 meeting between a Vatican ambassador and a particular authority figure of Germany) at the top and also had background music playing for some reason. Don't know if you've already discussed this anywhere, but just thought I'd mention it.

Sadly, I don't have Discord, and I'm not sure how much time I can commit to full-on research towards this subject at the moment, so I'm not necessarily too much help. Nevertheless, I wish you the best of luck in unraveling this mystery.

Personally, this seems a bit like something that could fit into an Internet mysteries-type YouTube video, so it would be kind of interesting if a YouTuber of that sort decided to cover this at some point. That's just my opinion, though.
