    yeah! when i first looking into getting an account, i went on tumblr and saw that people would just give away codes when they had too many. but these posts had been public for awhile already, so... all the codes were taken. i just messaged them and asked if they had any, and some replied to me!
    thats how i got my code anyway, hope this helps :3

    first things first, i dont listen to music very much. i often prefer a video or podcast to watch or listen to as i do stuff.
    but i tried to listen to music this year and here are my results !!
    (im a baby music listener mkay)

    honestly for the first year of me consistently listening to music, i'm pretty happy with this !

    it was really abt clairo or sabrina bc i love them both and constantly listen to their music.
    i wasnt shocked when sabrina won my top artist, but im happy clairo was in 2nd !!

    Skinseed could be using YOUR Minecraft skin for AI image generation. Minecraft skin artists deserve to know if their work is being used to make AI generated skins. This "dataset" is so vague, it could be anything from IP protected archives to people's personal Minecraft skins.

    What can you do? ↓



    I did reach out for comment via email, but at this time there has been to reply. WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW:

    1. Which database was used to train your upcoming model? Was it created with proper permissions and/or compensation, or was it sourced from external archives?

    2. Were all creators whose work is in your dataset aware of it appearing in the dataset? Did they all consent to their data being used for generative training?

    3. Will the AI generated content and the use of it contribute to your ad revenue? This includes scrolling AI generated archives and ads showing up.

    4. Do you have plans to monetize, since most models are pay to use?

    5. Does your team have plans to implement environmental offsets or put sustainability measures in place? Seeing as image generation uses a large amount of resources.



    ANY Minecraft artists, people who have made Minecraft skins, or AI haters! PLEASE help us let Skinseed know we do NOT want AI and we are tired of theft!

    For the time being, I highly encourage avoiding use of the Skinseed app on any device. They make revenue off of ad income. So using it = more money in Skinseed's pocket.

    If this goes through, this will be the largest, most accessible, AI Minecraft skin generator. This is terrifying.

    Edit: Here’s an extended list of sites to avoid by stopmodreposts.org, and some other lists for other games.

    Just a little PSA: Please do not download resource packs, skins, or mods from random sites online. There are a few reasons why not to do it:
    1. They are almost always uploaded without the creator's consent.
    2. Those websites have no review process (most of the time), so those packs could have been tampered with.
    3. If you don't have an adblocker on, ad revenue goes to the re-uploaders, not the original creators.

    Examples of sites to not go to:
    - texture-packs.com
    - resourcepack.net
    - texturepack.net
    - shadersmods.com
    - texture-packs.org
    - 9minecraft.com

    Examples of sites to go to:
    - Planet Minecraft
    - Modrinth
    - Patreon
    - CurseForge (yes I know they're not a great company but for the purposes of this post they're fine)
    - Skindex (I personally haven't used it, so if it has a lot of reuploads let me know)

    Even clicking the link in Google isn't a great idea, as it tells the search engine that the site is good, which pushes it higher in the list.
