Big reminder since I've been looking at some profiles for something (not sus, just finding peoples personas lmao)

It's not credit if you say "Credits to the rightful owners"

Like if someone did that to your skin, "oh i wear this skin, credit to the owner its mine now" you'd not be very happy.
At the very least you should name the original creator and/or link to where the original can be found.
If you cant find the original of something (ive had that issue with some bases from pintrest where ive been unable to find the original) either don't post it, or explain that you couldn't find the original (this means if someone does know the original they can help point you in the right direction)

It's pretty sad to see "credit to the rightful owners" and even no credit on some cool peoples profiles.

For picrew, It depends on the picrew. On most picrews the artist say if they want credit.
There is room to add credit for banners and profile pictures. It just won't be directly below them. In my opinion profile pictures need the most credit, as they are the main thing people see.
True, that seems reasonable. Dividers and profile decorations should have credit. I guess it is just easy to forget to add credit for those things.

strict crediting in wallposts i dont find as important, really just when it goes to making a profile.
Profiles are like the most important case as thats how you view a person and if you see someone showing off something that isnt theirs, without them saying it isnt theres, it gives off the wrong idea.

By banners and profile pictures, most of which I refer to are either made using a picrew or just art of a character. Fanart is always a difficult thing as it wanders.
Theres also the fact that profile pictures and banners dont directly have a text area next to them. With dividers and profile decorations it seems crazy to go out of your way to put some things on there while not bothering to credit an artist.

I'm on a site where they heavily enforces crediting. It kinda takes the fun out of everything. 1. We can't share memes (because it is impossible to find the original creator). 2. We can't use images without permission (Which kinda makes it impossible for me to get permission due to the fact I'm not on any of the social media sites which is the only way to contact most artists.) 3. If you forget credit you get in trouble.

Another thing to say, sometimes its good to go through who you have blocked.
I've blocked people over some minor things, which may have felt needed at the time, but really weren't necesarry anymore. I recently went through my blocked list as a joke, checking out everyones profiles, and found someone I blocked for little to no reason (I told them about it, and they're pretty cool!)

And on the other side of things : If someones blocked you, dont delibrately try and bypass it. It's creepy and not worth it!
