Replacement battery for my old laptop arrived today. Now this thing is basically running like new, and it's honestly kinda nice to be able to do things on it while unplugged, lmao

Got my old laptop up and running and installed fedora on it, although it's kinda on life support. So I orderd a new battery(current one can't hold a charge for more than 30 minutes) and a new optical drive(pretty sure the old one stripped a gear or something, so it no longer spins), and those should be here in a few days. Ngl though, I actually kinda like how I feel a little less immersed with the laptop compared to my desktop. Makes me feel like I can leave at any time and do other things. For being 10 years old, this thing still somehow manages to run things pretty well

I respect the effort put into all these newer Minecraft videos I see now, but I do prefer a good gameplay only video over these heavily cinematic art projects using the best looking shaders and replay mod constantly. Again, I respect, but it feels out of place in a video where you're talking about something that isn't very related to Minecraft. I miss old YouTube ig, lol
