This is "Carcasnip" who is a creeper known for his bright eyes. He often lives in the caves searching for the next person named Steve to walk up to him. Once he walks up, he uses his sharp teeth to claw his pray and entangle them in a web of some sorts. After the player is struggling to escape the trap, he then explodes killing the player.
