I was wandering my game trying to find a new village to build up, hopefully find some loot or at least decent traders. I'm out in the openness of a plains biome and it was almost nightfall, I just realized I failed to take a bed with me to quickly skip the night cycle.
So I frantically went sprinting for sheep to find some wool, as I was running I got lucky as one of the mobs spawned before me with its right side facing me as it looked off aimlessly.
But, as I got closer to it something strange occurred. My screen began to briefly glitch, you would hardly notice if you didn't watch the edges of your screen. As I grew closer, the glitch effect became more apparent, I thought perhaps it was just a malfunction or the game itself having a bug.
I was about 5 blocks when my screen completely went haywire, my character would no longer move, but the weird part is everything but the sheep glitched frantically.
It stood there for about a minute when I watched in confusion, and that's when it began to turn towards me. But not from the right, it completely turned a 180 to the left.
And that's when I saw it, I yelped out a gasp of fear as the left side of its body appeared pixelated in blood, with its flesh exposed beneath the wool, I could see bone.
It stood that way for another minute, and I panicked and tried shutting off my computer. But it wouldn't turn off, everything just stayed on.
It finally looked at me, it's eyes were an empty black with bloody tears streaming down its face, the mouth was a gaping void. It didn't neigh like a normal sheep, instead it sounded like it was gasping for air with a wheeze.
Then my computer shut off.
I sat in confusion and terror for a moment, wondering what the hell I just witnessed. I've heard stories about typical creepypasta, but this was real, I'm sure of it or at least that's what I told myself.
I decided to turn everything back on, and it was as if nothing ever shut off. I was back in the game where I left off, no sheep. And it was daytime, like I simply waited out the night and got lucky from hostile mobs.
But this is where it got even more strange, the main Minecraft theme song from C418 Calm 1 was playing, but in reverse. The sky was pure black, white clouds but no sun or moon, but it was daytime.
As I looked around my surroundings, I didn't see the other biome I came from, it was just plains. I was curious, so I decided to push on to see if I could find a village still, perhaps it was just some crazy mod I didn't know I had.
It seemed like plains was the only biome in the game, so I checked my map, I had to be sure, and in fact my entire map was fully explored but this wasn't my map. The whole map was just plains, but there was a single speck of brown, it has to be the village I thought.
So I carried on in the direction, occasionally looking at the brown speck and my white arrow to be sure I'm going in the right direction. As I felt I was getting closer, I decided to look at my map again, but there was a green arrow in the bottom right corner of the map, facing my direction.
That's weird I thought, I play alone and have it to where friends can't join me. I checked to see if there were other players, but there was not.
I continued on, checking my map from time to time and the green arrow got closer to me each time I looked. What the hell? I looked back to see if I could see a name tag or movement, but there was nothing in the distance.
I kept my map out in my off hand, keeping an eye on the green arrow. It did not move or turn ever, always pointing at my white arrow.
I traversed over a hill and finally spotted the village, it was on fire. I got close enough to see that there were no villagers, the buildings were just burning in silence.
And that's when I seen it, the green arrow began moving to my direction at alarming speeds too fast for any item in the game or enchantment.
As I looked in the direction, the sheep I saw earlier was floating at me quickly, its wool missing. Before I could do anything it flew right into me with its creepy air gasping.
And my game crashed again. I tried opening it, but the file was corrupted. No matter what I did, I could not open the game on that specific computer, like it gave it a virus I could not remove.
Once in awhile, I swear I hear its gasping at night...
