Jade Cat (Read Description 4 Story) TW: Blood

A local archeologist discovered a large jade cat in a dark and abandoned tomb. They took it without realizing the danger of this action (they also didn't read the label that gave a clear warning against taking the cat) and donated it to the museum as their last find. The museum hosted a party in honor of the archeologist's retirement: the jade cat was placed in the middle of the room as the main attraction (of course). In the middle of the archeologist's speech, a low growl was heard.
The jade cat had moved.
It's emerald eye glared down at the guests, sharp silver teeth glistening from the spotlight shone on it, and a silver eye studied them ravenously as if the small humans would be a delicious meal.
The jade cat gave a mighty roar and began to pounce on the guests, devouring some of them in it's mighty mouth.
The puny humans screamed and ran in terror.
The jade cat saw the archeologist attempt to run away, but it's merciless teeth chomped down on their leg and threw them with ease.
Police arrived and began shooting at the beast. Multiple bullets in a single spot caused large gaps in the jade cat's hardened outer layer.
The green giant roared in pain and fled.
No one has seen it since then.
The archeologist survived to tell the tale among the other victims, who swore they could see real blood dripping down the cat's face.
Perhaps one day, someone with enough arrogance, and a protective outer shell like the jade cat's, will tame it.
But until then, the cat roams in the darkest parts outside the town, waiting. For the one.
