Sarracenia Purpurea is a type of plant known as the Purple Pitcher Plant, it is known to attract and trap food such as insects where it will digest them in an acidic goo and absorb the nutrients.

This beast is no different, but it is not a plant. This creature burrows deep in the rock and soil of Skulk, where it awaits the vibrations and sounds of prey to awake it from its waiting slumber. The beast crawls out of the ground, and relentlessly chases its prey despite lacking any form of vision, instead it uses the tentacle like mouths as both ears and noses to seek its meal where it will slash and grab at its prey with large bone claws.

Whether is directly slays its meal or simply grapples it into its mouth, and it will then violently chew and crush the food so it is more easily broken down from the acidic stomach contents, and to keep the food from being more of a fight. From there, the prey is broken down into nutrients and absorbed, anything the beast does not want is puked from the large orifice into components of Skulk.

Then, the best crawls back under the ground to await more prey, and allow the Skulk material to spread and grow, allowing its hunting ground more advantage...
