In this mod there are 9 rails or 18(if you count the mono rails too) that have special properties.
The special properties are :
Ice Rail (Slow)
Glow Rail (Glow)
Lapis Rail (Bounce)
Chain Rail (Escalats)
Armed Rail (Exploads)
EnderPearl Rail (Float)
Diamond Rail (Speed-Up)
Emeraild Rail (Super Speed)
Obsidian Rail (Resistant to explosions)

Ok lets start with the Ice Rail. When the cart passes throught the Ice Rail it will be slowed but not a lot. The slow depends on the number of rails you have put. The cart will never stop when it is on the Ice Rail but it will be extremely slow if you have put a lot of Ice Rails without any Speed-Up.

Next the Glow Rail. This Rail Glows. That's it.

Now the Lapis Rail. This Rail can bounce meaning when your track ends with a Lapis Rail and there are no rails after it the minecart will fly. The height of the bounce will always be the same but the distance the cart will go while in the air depends on the Speed it had. the faster the cart the more distance it will pass while in the air.

The Chain Rail gives you the opportunity to make rollercoasters or at least better ones. When you put this rail horizontally they wont do anything but if you place then vertically the cart will escalate with a steady speed. These rails are really nice because they will imitate how a real rollercoater would start. If you want faster of course you can put powered or diamond rails to speed you up.

The Armed Rail. When he minecart passed through it will explode. All rails except the Obsidian Rails will be destroyed. Be careful how you use these rails because they have quite a big blast.

The EnderPearl Rails can be placed in the air but you have to start from a side of a block. You cant put a block under these rails because they will be destroyed. You cant walk on these rails too, only the minecart can pass throught them. These are very fun when you try to make a track between 2 mountains.

The Diamond Rails gives a Speed Boost that is almost equal to the Powered rails. these rails however can turn and dont need redstone torch or redstone power to work. I suggest yo use then before the Lapis Rail so you can bounce further.

The Emerald Rails have Super Speed Boost. This boost is so much that if you make a turn while you are on these rails the minecart will deattach from the rails. This is made so if you want you can switch between tracks. They can also be used before the Lapis Rail so you can bounce further.

The Obsidian Rails cant be destroyed from explosions however you must have a obsidian block below them so they dont get destroyed. This is so because the normal block will just get destroyed and even if the rail is resistant it will still break.

The Mono Rails have the same properties as the normal rails.
The Triple Rails have the same properties as the normal rails.
