He searched for others — anyone — for so long that time itself seemed to decay around him. His skin faded to black. His voice broke into whispers. And in the silence of the world, he forgot why he was searching.
Now, when you see him, you’ll hear that faint, broken word: “w_h_y…”
Not shouted. Not asked. Just… breathed.
The Lost One never runs. He only watches.
If you turn away, he draws closer.
If you face him, he tilts his head — as if trying to remember something long gone.
No one has ever followed him to the place he disappears to. No one has ever come back.
