NOTE: Necroing this 3 year old project because I randomly felt like fixing a fatal bug that I never got around to. I am not continuing work on this.

Better Weaponry Mod by that2guy!

This is a mod that introduces new weapons into minecraft, to make it more exhiliarating! After the intial alpha and beta updates, this will be a fleshed out mod, where you and your friends can get some of this mod's guns, set up a CoD map and waste out the rest of the day!

NOTE: The 1.7.2 version of the mod will not be updated. Our 1.7 modeler has not replyed in a long time, so we assume he has moved on. Development will continue on this version if he wishes to return.

This mod includes four guns:
Desert Eagle

Description:
Your standard handgun.

RoF (Rate of Fire): Two fifths of a second
Mag limit: 8 bullets
Damage per bullet: 9.5 hearts per
Reload time: 1 second


RPG (Rocket Propelled Grenade) [1.7.2] / Bazooka [1.8]

Description:
This powerful 'gun' (if you can call it that) shoots out rockets. If someone rocks up with one of these, best be afraid.

RoF (Rate of Fire): As long as it takes to reload (1.5 seconds)
Mag limit: 1 rocket
Damage per bullet: Explosions! (big ones)


Sniper Rifle

Description:
This is the one hit kill gun; although it takes a while to reload. Has a shift to scope feature, but does not look particularly pretty. Hope to fix in either 0.1.3 or 0.1.4.

RoF (Rate of Fire): 1.5 seconds
Mag limit: 10 bullets
Damage per bullet: About 15 hearts
Reload time: 1.35 seconds


Assault Rifle:

Description:
This gun is designed for the people who just like to hold down right-click and kill everything without worries.

RoF (Rate of Fire): 5 a second
Mag limit: 30 bullets
Damage per bullet: 7 and a half hearts (should I lower?)
Reload time: 3.5 seconds

Minigun

Description:
This gun is a powered up version of the assault rifle. It's your personal bullet hell!

RoF (Rate of Fire): ~6 a second
Mag limit: 80 bullets
Damage per bullet: 3 and a half hearts
Reload time: 3.5 seconds


Melee Weapons (swords, axes etc.)

Katana: +6 damage
Machete: +6.5 damage
Battle-Axe: +6.5 damage; Efficiency is the same as an iron axe



Ranged Weapons (bows, grenades etc. this does not include any of the guns)

3 and a half hearts
Grenade: Explosions!

I'm assuming you haven't seen this before in the previous versions?

It's getting an error on Minecraft.getMinecraft() (saying it doesn't exist), which is weird. Try deleting the mod, running forge again, then re-download + install it. If that doesn't work, I'll try and fix it in 0.1.4.

0.1.3 should be a really good update! It'll add reload time, reload sounds and a sound for when you're gun is out of ammo and you have no magazines remaining. Just finishing up now, should be good to go either today or tommorow.
