Very good work continue like this ! Have you thought about copying the NBT Tag from the entities ? In my mod which is similar to yours, I had forgotten at the beginning to do it and it was quite annoying for the villagoies for example..

yes, I don't currently have enough skill to copy NBT data. I really wish I had that information.

You need to get the NBT tag when colliding with the entity and add it to your item. You just have to copy it on your items
