This mod allows you to craft chain armor by using iron bars, and if you need the iron bars back, just put the armor back in the crafting box! Each piece of armor gives you the same amount of iron bars it takes to craft them :D

Umm... You can craft iron bars? This is news to me. Or am I just a noob?

Yes, you can. It's 3 iron ingots across the bottom and 3 across the middle :)

I just noticed that crafting iron bars and glass panes is extremely similar to crafting fences 0_0

And, in the source files of Minecraft, iron bars are called "fenceIron" :O

I'm sorry. I just figured that iron bars were perfectly easy enough to get, and not easy enough to get many of them. It just seemed like the perfect balance.

And, iron armor protects you equally as does the chain armor. So, I guess an iron item did make sense :D
