ChatBot is a plugin that you can chat with when you are bored by simply typing "Hey bot" in chat
before the question or whatever you would like to say to the bot!
The bot is constantly learning and getting smarter as it uses the API from CleverBot.

there is a config file in which you can change the messages and also define 
keywords that will trigger the bot.

Can it be configured to give particular message readouts for specific or similar questions? I'm thinking like an information hub almost. Namely, I would probably configure it to act like myself in game, and allow people to ask me questions about the server and get answers. Think "Hey Blueme00, do we have a discord?" and have it return "Yes we do, <insert discord URL here>"

I downloaded the plugin to my server and when I type hey bot! in chat or any of the other words, it doesnt reply :(

I wish you could play with this in singleplayer... Make it alot more fun knowing your not alone.... ;(

Does this work on singleplayer? whenever I type in: "Hey Bot" into the chat, nothing happens, am I supposed to download something else with the mod?

It's a Plugin for Bukkit/Spigot. You'd need to be running a server and connect to it to be able to use it. I am sure I could make it a mod for minecraft but I don't know what the rules on that are because the only mods I have seen here are forge mods.
