This mod is really simple, yet it took me a looong time to figure out how to make. This essentially makes the sky orange, like Cloud City from Star Wars. Simple, yet you'd be surprised what a difference one color change makes. :)

Instructions:


1. Extract the zip folder (the one you downloaded)

2. Navigate to the minecraft.jar (remember %appdata%)

3. Open the jar archive and drag and drop the CLASS files from the zip folder to the minecraft.jar

4. Delete the META-INF folder

5. Enjoy!

oOOOOoo or make it so the sun comes up but the sky remains dark (Starry) good for void maps which give the illusion of space for Space ships and stations

Sorry i made the pack of different colors but i couldnt find the day/night cycle coding... So sorry ill keep looking but the only code i found close was celestial angle and it didnt return anything interesting.

Good idea! Im actually making this one obsolete and making a large pack of different colors for the sky to choose from, and your idea will be one of them! :D
