MINING FOR COAL JUST GOT BETTER

Description of the Mod:

This mod allows player to create more with coal, other than the usual torches and use on furnaces. This mod allows the player to create armor, weapons, tools, and a glowstone-like, block. This obviously isn't the best way to conserve your coal, but, it is simply a matter of choice on whether or not you would like to have more variety into the game when it comes to combat and tools.


Recipes for armor,weapons (sword), and tools are the same. Imagine you using iron or diamond to make a pickaxe, axe, sword, chestplate, leggings, or other objects, it would be made the same way, but with the exception that it uses coal.

As for the fact that I make mods for the fun of the game and not for profit, I do not use adfly or any other making advertisement..thing...anyway, to download this mod, simply click here. I will make the link more noticeable further in the post, sense I know for a fact most people will not read this and will not know where to download.


Please Note:

The requirements for this mod are as follow : ModLoader for the current minecraft version.


Compatibility issues: None so far.


Bugs: Please report them in either messaging or a comment.


Also: This is my first Minecraft Mod and is (indeed) pretty simple and straightforward. It also, when it comes to glowstone, takes 9 pieces of coal (fill the crafting table) to make the Coal Lantern. It is illogical and I might add maybe a glowstone or diamond in the center to create this and make it more logical. For now, this is the mod, and please enjoy.

To install: Simplying drag all the files in the folder (in the zip folder) files into the minecraft.jar

Would you like the texture of the armor completely black? Or would you send me a pic on how you would like it to look? Also, what do you mean by coal? The Coal Lantern? Yes, I understand the coal lantern is not really...neat...but in the next update, I will be sure to add the new lantern texture pack. Thanks for the constructive criticism, I really appreciate it.

i mean the block of coal sorry i just woke up :P. but i was thinking the coal armour is shinny but real coal is not i would try o make it look dim, like kinda gray and some black, but im not trying to be mean if i sound like a douche im just trying to help :D

Thats my job :D, as the glowing coal armor...I will look into it...maybe make a completely different set for a new crafting recipe...such as...a coal lantern in the middle for the glowing armor? I will make sure to put that in the suggestions. Thank you very much.

(By the way couldn't tell if that was a compliment or a dis...lol)
