The Mod is has got a complete rewrite for 1.12, and is re-branded to FVTM,
thus it will not be compatible with the 1.11.2 version.

WARNING!
This mod is currently in "alpha", meaning features may be added or completely removed on any update, backup your worlds!

The Mod isn't anymore in alpha, but I would advise to always test new versions in a "test" world, so you don't end up corrupting your important stuff.

Known Addons:
  • GEP - General Essentials Pack
  • FVP - Fex's Vehicle Pack
  • ZMP - Zack's Model Projects (currently outdated)
  • HCP - heavy Cargo Pack

Installation:
- FVTM and FCL go into the /mods folder
- all Addons go into the /addons folder

Features (for creators)
  • make new content with the minimal simplicity level of a Minecraft Resourcepack(in fact it partially is loaded into the game as Resourcepack)
  • various model types accepted: Java (TMT), OBJ (in testing!), JTMT
  • JTMT is a custom Json model format which allows for use of Shapeboxes and similar like in Java-TMT models, but doesn't need compiling since it's a json model.
  • advanced part-based system to customize vehicles as far as possible, parts in fact can change some of the vehicle's behaviour
  • API - Want to register hardcoded vehicles, parts, materials or fuels? No problem! Just make use of the API, and register the stuff in the right Forge Registry Event (that's a 1.12+ forge feature)
  • Hybrid Addons, you can both have an addon partially made from pure json, but aswel put into some java code to make it even fancier, in fact, the required base addon is an Hybrid addon.
  • possibility to repaint vehicles into all RGB colours
  • scripts - which give you access to the most important events in the vehicle, and since they are in java, you can directly access anything else in Minecraft which you may need, additionally with inbuilt methods for simple server-client synchronisation

There is no mod version for 1.10.2;
Fex, I would love to have your mod in my modpack, but you dont have it
in 1.7.10. I have the 1.7.10 version because there are a bunch of mods that i
would like that arent 1.12.2 or 1.10.2. I have flans, but your fex's
vehicle pack is 1.12.2. there is a flans of that, but yet again, i like

Yes, there is an FVP version working with 1.7.10

Sadly, FVTM is pretty much bound to the 1.12.2 minecraft/forge code, porting to 1.7.10 would need a quite bit of work, it wouldn't be impossible, but I got no reason/motivation as I do not play 1.7.10 anymore, etc...

Minecraft keeps on crashing because of Fex Craft Library. Fexcraft Library is in the mods folder, so is this mod. General Essentials Pack is in addons. What's wrong?

Can you please tell me me why it's crashing? Like normal, Opening minecraft 1.12.2 forge, it loads with the forge loading screen. When it's finished loading, it says this before the crash stuff.

What with what?

If you mean vehicle fuels, those sadly aren't compatible with any modded fuels. (YET)

If you mean e.g. containers, those should work with pipes and fluids from other mods.
I mean the all mod. When I start the game it crashes and says fex vehicles... not compatible with ImmersiveEngineering mod and another one with some doors, but that one is not so important.

If you mean the vehicles, yes, there is also an "content-pack" for flansmod with the same models.

But other than that, this mod has more features, and updates.

So this one's better? I'm making a modded custom map, so I don't really want to create the cars myself. I noticed that Flan's cars have no collision, wich is kinda odd. Does this mod have collisions?

It does not have collisions yet sadly, also making cars in this mod needs a bit of "knowledge/experience", as most vehicles aren't usable off-the-go, but need to get parts "installed" etc. (except a few available preset vehicles).

In comparison, you can just place any vehicle off flansmod instantly, but also they do not allow to switch parts, change color, textures etc like FVTM.

Probably wrong FVP version, make sure you have the latest.
It crashed again while the game starts

The newer FCL has a few changes in the Render library, which make it incompatible with older mods/packs.

Hmm, was asking because I recently heard people with another mod having issues on another OS,
and I myself experienced a few days ago MS Edge not wanting to give me a file as jar.

Which version/link did you try? Could also send the files if you would join our discord server.

Tried latest and then recently tried all others, all gave me a folder named .JAR - firefox & chrome, if it is possible to send the jar file over discord in TheDragonGamer on it, i joined recently

Hmm, iirc there is T1, OT1, C2, C5 (fresh), C7, AB1-B, all should have enough parts to setup and drive them.

T1 & OT1 have exchange-able cargo parts.

Take a look into the "presets" tab in creative inventory, and/or also in the Constructor at "Part Settings" take a look into "required parts" (scroll down via up/down arrows).

You need at least the "GEP" and "FVP" addons.

Also, do put them into the ./minecraft/addons/ folder.

  • Water Vehicles (Ships/Boats) are possible to make since recently,
  • Rail Vehicles (Trains/Wagons) may be available in some months when Trains-In-Motion will be out,
  • Air Vehicles - clueless.

    Or do you mean different Land Vehicle Types? That's up to addon makers.

Can You Update FVP? Because when i was finish putting the parts on T1 Truck It just crashed, It's said The game crashed whilst unexpected error
