JM Notice Board [Bedrock]

Instead of placing (and constantly updating) large amounts of signs around your world, players can post notices directly from the board and browse them anytime. Posts can be sorted into categories, include optional location tagging, and support expiration timers so old notices do not clutter the board forever. If archiving is enabled, expired posts are moved into an admin archive instead of being deleted, keeping your world tidy while still preserving history when you need it.

It is designed for survival servers, realms, and shared worlds where you want announcements, trades, rules, and general community messages to be easy to find without spamming chat or building sign boards everywhere.

Getting the Board
The notice board is a craft-able item using 3x cobblestone, 1x plank(any kind), and 5x logs(any kind). Alternatively, in creative, you can find it under the “items” tab. Once you have the “Notice Board” item, place it as you would any block and it will place the whole notice board. If you place it on the ground it places the free standing board, if you place it on a wall it places the wall board.

• Replaces sign spam: Consolidates announcements and messages into one board instead of large walls of signs.
• Player posting system: Players can create posts with a title and message directly from the board UI.
• Categories: Organize posts into custom categories (great for News, Trade, Rules, Events, etc.).
• Custom category icons: Give each category its own icon for quick recognition.
• Expiration timers: Choose how long a post stays active (multiple preset durations, plus an Infinite option).
• Admin archive for expired posts: Expired posts are not deleted, they can be moved into an Admin Archive (if enabled).
• Saved Posts: Players can save posts to their own Saved Posts page for quick access later.
• Comments per post: Add discussion under a post with player name and timestamp.
• Location tagging: Posts can automatically include the location where they were created.
• Admin controls & moderation: Tools for admins/OPs to manage categories, settings, and general board moderation.
• Board settings: Optional toggles like disabling player posts or controlling how the board behaves (server-friendly).
• Clean UI flow: Everything is done through in-game menus, no command knowledge required for normal players.
