Introduction
Ingots are great, don't get me wrong, but do you know what's better than ingots? Nuggets. They're like ingots, only, they take up more space! There's literally no downside! Well, maybe...Anyhow, sometimes, a mod does not add a nugget version of all the ingots. Fake studies show that this makes people deeply sad. To fix this dire problem, I have created JustNuggets. This mod adds a nugget for every ingot and gem registered in the ore dictionary. The nugget will take a colour from the ingot texture, making them work with resource packs.
Current Features
- Automatically generates a nugget for every ingot and gem found in the ore dictionary.
- Generated nuggets have the colour of the ingot they come from.
- Generated nuggets can be crafted into the ingot they come from, and the ingot can be crafted into the nuggets.
Planned Features
- Use the golden nugget texture, but greyscale it in code before applying colours to it, instead of using a custom texture.
- Food nuggets, primarily, a Beef nugget.

Though, someone has also suggested, jokingly, that I should make the nuggets all randomly rotate when the client is started, and have the rotations purely client-side so that if you were playing on a server, your nuggets would be rotated differently from others.
Either way, I don't get why the Iron Nugget is rotated on its side, so I probably won't do anything with rotation. I might if I get bored, though.
The side-ways Iron nuggets are not from my mod - they come from Vanilla Minecraft.
My mod automatically generates nuggets for every ingot and gem that is registered in the Ore Dictionary. So, say you were using IC2, the mod would add Copper nuggets, and a nugget form of every ingot from that mod, but if you took that mod out and loaded without it, you would not see Copper nuggets or any nuggets from the IC2 ingots.
I appreciate you making this, and thank you for it, but it would be nice if you could show off this auto-generation for loaded mods.
Also, no need for a PM and a comment that says the exact thing, so have a reply that's the same as the PM, except this last bit.
