What's MCTennis?


MCTennis is a MiniGame plugin to play tennis games in Minecraft.


Ball Features

  • A moving TennisBall without any resource packs
  • A customizeable physic engine
  • Automatic detection of Java or Bedrock clients using Geyser

Game Features

  • 1 concurrent playable tennis minigame
    • Playable sets with score counter
  • Easy integration into other plugins by executing commands on player join, leave, win, loose, draw.
  • Also works on Bedrock Clients (e.g. SmartPhone, etc.) using Geyser

Installation

  • Download the plugin MCTennis
  • Put the plugin into your plugin folder
  • Read the "Getting Started Section"
  • Start the server (Spigot 1.20.4, Java 8-Java Latest)
  • Join and start configuring by typing /mctennis

  • #20 Added new arena.yml options to execute command every game tick. Delete your arena_samle.yml to recreate it with the new options.
  • #20 Added more placeholders.
  • #20 Added placeholder support for all commands being executed in MCTennis. Together with the commands, this allows usecases like playing particles or sounds at the location of the ball.
  • #24 Updated third party dependencies for the non legacy versions.

Is there a mod called MiniGame that I need to have to use the mod? Or is it just a standalone mod that I can use? Can I also use it in singleplayer?

This is a bukkit/spigot plugin and it does not really make sense to use in SinglePlayer because you need atleast 2 players to play tennis :) . Check youtube how to setup a spigot server and put the free MCTennis-Latest.jar into the plugins folder.
