Hello everyone!

I hope you guys are enjoying the mod! Your support is what drives me to develop these mods!

As the name says, this is the Explosive Chickens mod! And that is just what it does! This mod adds one mob, and two items. These are listed below:

NOTE: I am trying a new experimental mod installer for my mods. Before I use it permanently, I want you guys to tell me if you like using and want me to continue the mod with it. If you do not wish to use the installer, you can download the mod file by clicking the raw file button under the Download Mod button. Feel free to suggest features in the comments or a PM!

- Fixed a crash when shooting a chicken spawn point with a launcher
- Tamed chickens speed up when attacking
- Added translation for Australian English, Pirate Speak and Russian
- New death message for players who are killed by tamed chickens

MOBS:

Explosive Chickens: Spawns in Extreme Hills, Beach, Forest and Plains Biomes in packs of about 100. They have strange blue dots on their beaks. They also have the same amount of health as a regular chicken (2 Hearts). When you run into them, the explode. When you attack them, they explode. They drop chicken which explodes when you eat it. And they lay trick eggs (detailed below). You can also tame them like a wolf using gunpowder. They will follow you around and suicide-bomb your enemies. You can also make them stay by right-clicking them. Your chicken will not explode if you run into it or attack it.

ITEMS:

Trick Egg: Laid by Explosive Chickens (detailed above). They explode when you right click with them.

Explosive Chicken Launcher: Crafted with 6 stone, 1 flint, 1 Iron Ingot and 1 piece of redstone (Shown in screenshots above). Uses Eggs and Trick Eggs as ammo and shoots chickens which explode on impact.

Trick Chicken: Like a trick egg, dropped by chickens and explode when eaten. Can also be cooked in a furnace.

It also includes a very simple config file where you can change certain settings and the IDs.

For the client, the config file is located at:
/%appdata%(or Library/Application Support)/(.)minecraft/romejanic/Explosive Chickens/config.txt

For the server, the config file is located at:<br>/(server folder)/romejanic/Explosive Chickens/config.txt

KNOWN BUGS:

- Chicken Pets don't always get tamed properly
- Chicken Launcher Model glitches when used with iChun's Morph mod (and probably with mobs too...)

WHY I REMOVED STRING LOCALIZATION IN CONFIG FILE

Like I said in the update description, I have removed the ability to change
mob names, item names and death messages from the config file. I did
this because I have started using string localization files to make it easier
to expand the mod's audience. You can still change these however, by
opening the mod file with a program like WinRAR or 7zip and by editing the
files in the /assets/exchickens/lang/ folder. You can also change these with
resource packs.<br><br>INSTALLATION:

As always, this mod requires the latest version of MinecraftForge to work.

INSTALLATION:

CLIENT:
INSTALLER:
1. Download the installer, and open it
2. Click the big Install button
3. Follow the onscreen step to install the mod
MANUAL:
1. Install MinecraftForge
2. Run the game once, then exit.
3. Download the mod by clicking the Raw File button
4. Drag the mod into your /mods folder
5. Run the game and enjoy!

SERVER:
1. Install MinecraftForge in a new folder
2. Run the server once, then type "stop" in the console
3. Download the mod by clicking the Raw File button
4. Drag the mod into the server's /mods folder
5. Run the server again
6. Follow the instructions above to install the mod in your client
7. Join the server and enjoy!

NOTE: Everyone who wants to join the server must follow the instructions for the client installation first!
