DOWNLOADS:
Current Version (Fabric Only) (1.21.11)
Older Versions/NeoForge (1.21.5 - 1.21.10)
FABRIC VERSION REQUIRES FABRIC API! BOTH VERSIONS BELOW 1.21.11 REQUIRE ARCHITECTURY API!
Minecraft suffers from very heavy soundtrack compression, and it is very noticeable on a lot of the earlier tracks, and you might even be able to notice it on some of the newer ones as well. This was obviously done to respect the game's expectedly small file-size, but what if this weren't the case?
MineFLAC is a clientside multi-loader mod for Minecraft (Fabric/NeoForge) that re-implements the entire game's soundtrack in "full quality" (FLAC audio exported to OGG at 48khz w/ max quality settings in Audacity) alongside cut/new tracks by C418. Instruments are now a lot more clearly audible, and now more accurately match their source quality.
Please keep in mind that the soundtrack is intentionally not optimized for filesize, so the download is around a gigabyte big! For a smooth experience, I highly recommend playing with 4GB allocated to Minecraft.
There are also new bonus tracks composed by C418 with some being unique to night time, rain, jungles, caves, and snowy biomes! Liven up the nature of your world with colorful, high quality tracks made by the original composer of Minecraft!
