This is a mod that adds obsidian, emerald, bone armour and tools to the game.
It also adds iron chain which can be used to craft chain mail armour.

Modloader is required get it HERE
META-INF must be deleted

Crafting recipes:
Iron chain - 1 iron ingot placed anywhere - creates 2 iron chains.
Iron chain is used to craft chain mail armour.
All normal except obsidian tools which require blaze rods instead of sticks.

Obsidian same rate as diamond but more durable.
Emerald in between iron and diamond.
Bone in between stone and iron.
Chain the same as bone.

Fixes:
16:06 1st september 2012 bone spade recipe corrected.
16:00 20th october 2012 chain mail and bone conflict resolved.

More types of armour and tools could be added in a later update.

How come every time i install this mod, and then try to open up minecraft it just makes my minecraft screen black? please help!

Most likely because we haven't had the time to update the mod yet, because of school work, so it won't be compatible with the current version of Minecraft. We will try to update it sometime :-)

This is the only mod of the type that I've found that has values that I like for the items. Any chance of making it work SMP?
