Ever wished that you could throw an enderpearl and follow it through it's path?

Well now you can!

With RideableEnderpearl, you can throw an enderpearl and ride it!
At any time, you can sneak to get off of the enderpearl.

This plugin is a simple drag-and-drop, no commands or permissions.

Enjoy!

It's been a long time from when I've been on mineplex.
I actually haden't known about that plugin until recently.
So while this plugin is similar in function, it is not equivalent.

That's a lot of unneeded iteration. Add the entity to the EnderPearl object. If you're worried about memory leaks, you can add checks and then remove the object from the hashmap. (Java's GC will take it from there.)

if (entity == null || !entity.isValid()) {
    // stuff
}

Yeah, memory leaks are terrifing and I hate referring to the garbage collector...

In this situation, the GC will remove the objects if you don't have any references to them.

What if the entity changes?
I'm not sure, but I think because I'm holding the object and not a reference, my object won't change...

You're holding the object reference. But, when you do
entity = null; or entity = anotherObject;
you're changing the reference. For example, see this code:

Player player = Bukkit.getPlayer("someone");
player = null;
You're nulling the reference, not the object itself.
To answer your question, if the entity changes, your code will see it.

Ah, I see, thank you.
I just saw not to store players here:
https://forums.bukkit.org/threads/common-mistakes.100544/
and assumed it would be the same for entities as well.

Nope, when a player launches an enderpearl, it adds them to a hashmap along with their enderpearl.
Every tick, it teleports all players in the hashmap 3 blocks above their enderpearl.
If the enderpearl doesnt exist, it removes it from the hashmap.

But I know how to make servers. I made already 6 private. Just Java command doesn't work how it is supposed to. I tried adding java to PATH variable, reinstalling, etc..

Try this.
Use the "start" command with the batch file to start the jar file with the javaw exe in the java bin folder.
