Hi there.

I've gotten a report about this 'completely destroying' a Minecraft install. While I myself (as a programmer) don't see how this could happen, would you consider letting me take a peek at the source so I can ensure the people it's not malicious?

how much RAM do you have.Sometimes DEP (Data Execution Prevention) terminates Minecraft as it is using up the system reserved RAM also
now my minecraft goes to like 18 FPS from a normal 63

thanks alot -__-

close all open programs and then launch Minecraft.32 bit Windows will always experience lag after adding more RAM as 32 bit systems cannot handle RAM allocation properly
thanks alot

this completely screwed my minecraft >_>

k i will update it in a minute
I am a proggramer and i don't see how this could work... What is it allocating more ram to? Java?? Even then you still have to allocate more ram to the actual minecraft.exe which you would need the filepath to that apllication which there is no text box to say the filepath.

Well it autodetects your Minecraft executable. The program just needs to know your .minecraft folder. It generates users selected amount of RAM calls the callback trace.Requests java environment variable and creates the bat.In simple words is it will generate the required allocation table and allocates 1 - 2% of selected ram to the java runtime environment and the rest 98 - 99% to the minecraft executable.
how does it detect the minecraft.exe? i just don't see how

if you really are a java programmer you would know that any executable can be detected. Or you just fail at coding, this ram increaser is the easiest coding i have ever seen.

There is everything in common with every program, which is algorithm, sadly it seems you don't know that very well.

Actually it is simple, If clicked ---> Receive administrators support ---> increase the process of java of how much ram the admin decides

This tool is a bit more complex than your explanation. It will lock the RAM to prevent DEP from doing it. Increase amount of RAM available to the java. Generates virtual machine process handler and creates the code.
