Ranger's Apprentice Mod for 1.12.2

Hey man! Love the work. i used to play in the 1.6.4 version oh so long ago. I was extremely happy seeing it updated to 1.12.2. However, there seems to be a crash when playing with ice and fire, along with witchery resurrected.

This means the mod "Ranger's Apprentice" tried to cast your player (client-side) into a server-side player object, which is invalid in singleplayer or client events.

EntityPlayerSP = Client player (what you control)

EntityPlayerMP = Server-side player (used on multiplayer servers or integrated server logic)



I'll let you figure out the rest xD. But honestly, dude, I'm so hyped that you came up with this. I had so many great memories with this mod!

I guess the trend of updates being larger than the last is continuing, with v1.3 being the largest update in Ranger's Apprentice mod history!!!

There won't be a larger one than this, though xD

This update adds Arrida, with 3 new factions, AND completely overhauls the skill system with 50+ new skills. The skill system makes much more sense now, upgrades to skills are clear and have tooltips so you know what you're getting out of it.

I hope you all enjoy this update as much as I did making it! There's also tons of new structures to find. :)

This new update is huge and has even more changes than the last!

There's so many items and a bunch of new structures, making this update very survival friendly. Ranger and Araluen Knight are especially at a point where they are fleshed out classes, I've had fun with both classes.

I assume the new Senshi class is a great choice too, but I haven't playtested it enough. The most underwhelming class/faction currently is the Scotti, but I plan to flesh the class out and give them plenty more items and some structures in a future update!

(They are also the only faction without structures currently.)

Now it's time for the first MAJOR update in 11 years, the Nihon-Ja update!!!





Yes, over a decade later, we are receiving a new faction: Nihon-Ja.



With this faction comes the Senshi class. Endurance is the Senshi's strength and path to victory, with dense, tough armor and skills you can level up that allow you to survive almost any onslaught!


There's also a skill that allows you to bypass weapon cooldown: Fury Slice. Some true Samurai action!


(Technically the previous release was also very major, but it was a completion of an unreleased update from 11 years ago. But updating said update to 1.12.2 was a major project...)
