Key Features

Siege Engines – Control authentic medieval war machines. From explosive catapults to devastating trebuchets, rain destruction upon your enemies.

Castle Warfare – Discover and assault pillager castles.

Wave-Based Sieges – Sound the horn near enemy fortifications to trigger intense wave-based battles. Use ominous bottles for greater challenges and better rewards.

Soldier Units – Recruit villager warriors and archers to fight at your side, or face deadly pillager champions in close combat.

Strategic Gameplay – Plan your attacks carefully. Weaken defenses with siege weapons before storming the castle to eliminate remaining forces.

Siege Weapons

The Vassal Ship

Your transport vessel for moving troops across the Minecraft seas. This ship carries up to 6 units plus the driver, making it perfect for large-scale deployments. Fully commandable using the fleet drums and banner claim mechanics, you can assemble and control your own imperial fleet.

The ship is also upgradable, interact with a shield, goat horn, or ballista to apply enhancements. Please note: only one upgrade can be active at a time.

Sieged! Minecraft Mod

The Siege Cart

Command this mobile fortress with any rideable mob and roll into battle! Transport your troops directly to the front lines, launch attacks from the safety of the cart, and breach enemy walls with your allies at your side!

Sieged! Minecraft Mod

The Brazier

The brazier is the first uncraftable siege device. Whether used defensively or offensively, this device will set your arrows ablaze! But not just with ordinary fire from the base game. It'll actually ignite the block it lands on!

The Siege Tower

Command the mighty siege tower, push the tower towards enemy walls and invade directly into the compound. Ideally you would use this as an alternative to get soldiers onto castle walls if they are too formidable for the battering ram.

The Ballista

A precision siege weapon that fires high-damage arrows. Perfect for defending fortifications or providing ranged support during attacks. Requires arrows and the Firing Staff to operate.

The Catapult

A short-range siege weapon delivering explosive payloads. Perfect for crowd control and targeting specific castle weak points. Ideal for opening assaults and breaking through initial defenses. This siege weapon fires at where the player is looking.

The Trebuchet

The ultimate long-range devastation machine. Launches massive fiery explosions that cannot be aimed once placed, the trebuchet locks to its face direction. Plan your siege positions wisely before deployment.

Feature: Hold a spyglass in your inventory to activate Boulder Cam - view the boulder's trajectory and impact in real-time!

This Feature has been replaced, Now when you interact with a spy glass on the trebuchet it will show you the boulders flight path with particles!

The Battering Ram

A slow force designed to destroy walls and gates. Prime the ram with the Firing Staff, then activate again to release its devastating charge. The ram can only go straight, so make sure you plan your path accordingly!

Be aware enemy units can claim your battering ram and use it against you to prevent that use a named banner to claim your weapon

Building & Movement (NEW):

Once placed, you will see an opaque outline of the siege weapon interacting with the building material will progressively build the siege weapon, in this state you can crouch and and interact before to rotate the siege machine and finalizing the construction after its built the siege weapons cannot be moved (except for the battering ram). You must know exactly where you want them! If the siege weapons are destroyed, they will drop pieces from the recipe, NOT the siege weapon! They are expensive to craft, so there are some opportunities to move them via lead, which makes the happy ghast a little more useful ;)

Claim System:

Siege weapons and Units have claim systems. This is a feature that will likely be worked on in the future. To claim a Unit or siege weapon, crouch and interact with any named banner and that siege weapon and Unit will only fire if its in your inventory and attack other players. The claiming system for units unfortunately does not let you have allied players only use banner mechanics if you are a lone player.

Field Repairs: You can now repair damaged siege weapons and Wooden Gates using planks and logs by crouching and interacting with them.

Battering Rams: Underlying code has been rewritten for more consistent operational physics.

Ballista Tuning: Target firing logic has been perfected; ballistas will no longer fire if they lack a direct line of sight. They now visually fire high-velocity javelin entities while remaining loaded with standard arrows to keep ammunition costs balanced.

Siege Defences:

Castle Gate:

A massive fortified gate built to seal castle entrances. Interact to open or close it on command. Requires Town-tier castle development or higher to construct.

Wooden Gate:

A sturdy interactive gate with 200 HP that can be locked shut against intruders. Interact to toggle it open or closed, or crouch and interact to lock it. Enemies and players can force it open by battering through it, so don't leave it unguarded.

Pile o’ Rocks:

Interact with the pile to retrieve heavy rocks, lob them directly at enemies with a throw, or interact with them on your catapult for ammunition. Load your trebuchet directly from the pile for a special multi-shot volley. The pile degrades through visible stages as it's depleted, so keep your stockpile guarded and your engineer supplied.

Arrow Barrel

This block can store up to 64 arrows when interacted with using arrows. When placed near falconers or sentinel‑manned ballistas, it will automatically supply them with arrows, keeping their weapons reloaded straight from the barrel.

Arrow Slit t & Arrow Slit i

These semi‑decorative blocks provide visual cover while still allowing projectiles to pass through. Due to current limitations, the block is treated like a skinny slab positioned at the top of the block space. For now, this makes it a visual element rather than a fully physical barrier.

Structures

The Greek Ship Boat (NEW)

A new structure that spawns out in the ocean, this massive stationary ship is fully siegeable. What sets it apart from any siege you’ve faced before is its ability to summon enemy vassal ships to join the battle against you.

Beware this vessel houses a dangerous new foe, and defeating it won’t be easy. But the rewards are worth the risk: not only the spoils from the siege itself, but also the barrels hidden in the rear

Just be careful... don’t burn the loot.

The Forasken Castle

A structure that spawns in mountainous biomes you'll find the new boss the Forsaken Knight. This structure also has many enemies contained within so come prepared for a fight!

The Tyrants Castle

This colossal fortress is the largest standing stronghold in the realm, armed to the teeth with siege weapons and vast armies! The castle has withstood countless sieges over the ages, but the scars of battle remain, look for crumbling walls and damaged sections from previous assaults. These weakened points may be your only chance to breach the defenses. Do you have what it takes to storm the Tyrant's Castle and claim victory?

Located in Taiga Forests

The Monarchs Castle

A fortified stronghold nestled within a loyal settlement, the Monarch's Castle offers sanctuary in these troubled times. Seek out the Monarch in his defensive keep, take refuge behind sturdy walls, rally your forces, and prepare to strike back against the Illager threat!

Located in Plains

Desert Castle

A sandy fortress featuring overlapping walls, a tall stronghold, and an inner courtyard. This castle will not be easy to conquer, it's heavily fortified with enemies and siege weapon reinforcements!

Viking Castle

A frozen stronghold that generates in snowy plains biomes. Face cold-adapted enemies and brave the harsh northern battlefields.

Villager Training Camp

Discover training camps where you can recruit soldiers through an interactive mini-game. Interact with the Villager General and trainees to unlock auto-tamed soldiers ready for battle!

Pillager Castle

A fortified interior environment featuring condensed close-quarters combat. Navigate tight corridors and rooms while fighting through waves of defenders.

Pillager Fort

An expansive design with a central courtyard training ground. More open combat spaces

Captured Village

An active battlefield where pillagers have seized control. Burnt crops, captured villagers, and ongoing combat await. Liberate the village and restore peace to the land.

Villager Castle

In forests, these strongholds house elite villager soldiers. Recruit these skilled warriors to join your campaigns and turn the tide of battle.

Ambient Structures:

3 Wagons will spawn throughout your world

MOBS

Villager Units:

All villager units(except banner guard) can now wear and equip armors and weapons! (the Chevalier can only equip a helm and a chestplate,)

Warder – Villager soldiers armed with swords or spears and shields. Hire these warriors with emeralds to fight alongside you. Available in 4 variants.

(NEW) Advanced Formations: Introduced stationary defensive Phalanx and Turtle formations inside the Banner Guard menu (restricted to Warders only).

Sentinel – Expert crossbowmen trained in ranged combat. Recruit with emeralds to provide covering fire during sieges. Available in 4 variants.

Falconer – Expert Longbowman this unit is a long range unit that will rain arrows on an opponent when using the arrow rain ability. Watch as the sky turns dark with arrows! Comes in 5 variants!

Banner Guard – This unit is crucial for commanding your armies. It can upgrade warders into shieldwalls and sentinels into falconers, order troops into formation, and form warbands for long-distance travel. When tamed falconers are in range, this unit gains the special ability Arrow Rain (see below for details). To claim this unit for your faction, use a named banner while crouching near it. Once claimed, no other player can command your allies, and they will auto-attack any enemy!

command feature:

Planning your next assault? Use the new command system to get a bird's-eye view of the battlefield! Position your soldiers in tactical groups or deploy them individually, then issue orders, charge forward into combat or hold the line. The battle is yours to orchestrate!

The new commanding horn: item when you crouch and interact on the banner guard youll be able to open the banner guards menu from 15 blocks away!

Improved "Follow Me" Command (NEW)

The commanding horn menu now features individual targeting toggles. You can specifically order Infantry, Cavalry, Ranged, All Units, or Banner Guards to follow your lead. Additionally, you can access the Banner Guard menu from 15 blocks away by crouching and interacting with the horn.

Chevalier – The first mounted unit in Sieged, the Chevalier is speed and skill combined. Whether commanding him alongside your Banner Guards or hiring him as a personal guard, this warrior is fast, agile, and absolutely lethal with his spear. He's a must-hire if you want elite cavalry on your side. Arrogant? Absolutely. But he has the skill to back it up.

Templar - The faith-forged warrior of the realm, the Templar is a heavily armored soldier who can be stationed to defend your castle or march at your side. What sets the Templar apart is their trained shield discipline, when struck by arrows or tridents, they raise their shield and block all incoming projectile damage for a brief window before striking back. Unlock the Templar through the Iron Discipline upgrade in the Ledger, or promote a Warder using a War Order Scroll.

Siege Engineer - The Siege Engineer is an autonomous specialist who keeps your artillery loaded and your supply lines running. Once stationed near a Pile o' Rocks, he'll walk to the pile, gather boulders, and deliver them directly to your nearest trebuchet or catapult

Beyond the battlefield, the Siege Engineer doubles as a merchant. Trade with him to purchase crafting components including Siege Legs, Catapult Arms, Trebuchet Arms, and Tempered Steel or spend enough and he'll sell you siege weapons directly. He'll also buy back components you no longer need for emeralds. The Forging Glove can also be purchased from him.

Keeping a Siege Engineer stationed within your territory is a requirement for unlocking higher-tier siege weapons through the Ledger, so treat him well.

To aquire a siege engineer simply crouch and interact on any villager with the siege legs item!

The Monarch –A just ruler with secrets. Why does he maintain such close ties to the Tyrant King? Perhaps you'll uncover the truth in time.

The Monarch offers quests with powerful rewards, including War Order Scrolls, consumable items that can transform your units. Crouch and interact with a villager to promote them to a Warder, upgrade a Warder to a Chevalier, or elevate a Sentinel to a Falconer. Build your army strategically!

Complete his quest to establish your own kingdom and earn the Castle Flag, allowing you to claim territory and begin your sovereign rule!

Defeated a boss and obtained an Empty Crest? Drop it near the Monarch and he'll bestow upon you a Crest of the Kingdom, whether War, Wealth, Architecture, or another path entirely. See the Castle Flag section for more details on what each crest unlocks!

Illager Units:

Vanquisher – Elite pillager warriors wielding shields and swords. Beware their devastating charged ram attack that penetrates all defenses.

Executioner – Brutal pillager commanders equipped with axes and Totems of Undying. These formidable foes refuse to fall easily.

Lancer - The Chevalier's deadly counterpart, the Lancer comes in three distinct variants suited for different climates and battlefields. Don't underestimate this warrior, he's every bit as lethal as the Chevalier. When you see a Lancer on the horizon, raise your shields and prepare for a fierce fight!

Ransacker - A hardened pillager who prowls the land cutting down anything in his path. The Ransacker is a dangerous ranged combatant capable of detecting you from an extraordinary distance and harassing you with arrows from over 50 blocks away. They come in hot and cold climate variants adapted to their environment.

Special Units

Berserker – Fearsome warriors who enter a frenzy state when struck in combat. During their frenzy, they gain increased speed, strength, and size, delivering devastating melee attacks. Approach with extreme caution!

Eradicator – forged in the sands of the desert this foe has adapted and uses a special ability when in combat! Once struck he summons two guardsman mirages to disorient and distract the player whilst striking the player while disguised. Beware this unit and make sure you are well prepared before engaging in combat!

Javalier(NEW) - A disciplined warrior found only aboard Greek Ships, the Javelier stands as one of the Illagers’ most elite maritime fighters. Wielding a heavy javelin paired with a reinforced hoplite‑style shield, they fight with an eagles precision.

Cheiftain – A fearsome mini-boss who must be taken down to finish a raid. He rides in on a ravager with considerable health, summoning waves of enemies to overwhelm you. Take him down quickly before he rallies more troops, but be warned, killing a Cheiftain bestows Bad Omen upon you, which may draw the wrath of yet another raid.

Weapons & Armor

    • New Arsenal: Javelin, Throwing Axe, Throwing Dagger, Billhook, Greatsword, Sabre, Gladius, Flail, Wooden Pike, Long Bow, Heavy Crossbow, Repeating Crossbow, Morning Star, Halberd, Pike, Longsword, Zweihander, Heavy Hammer, War Hammer, Glaive, Short Glaive (occasional poison), and the Lance (amplified mounted damage).

    • New Armor: Seafarer armor set, Tempered Steel set (red cloth), Warlord set (frost), Repentance set, Barren set (desert), Templar gear, and Warder gear.

    • Six Custom Shields: Buckler, Round Shield, Large Round Shield, Heater Shield, Kite Shield, and the heavy Tower Shield (which can be planted into the ground as a deployable barrier fortification).

Wooden Pike Mechanics: Crouch-interact to place up to 3 pikes on a single block surface. Entities standing on them take continuous damage scaling with the pike count. Pikes degrade and self-destruct over time.

Blocks & Crafting:

- -> -->

Forging System:

Tempered steel — the backbone of all high-tier weapons, armor, and shields — cannot simply be crafted. It must be forged.

Step 1 — Heat the iron: Place iron ingots into a blast furnace to produce heated iron. Work fast: heated iron cools back into regular iron ingots after just 5 seconds in your inventory.

Step 2 — Gear up: Equip the Forging Glove in your chest slot before handling heated iron. Holding it bare-handed will set you on fire.

Step 3 — Strike the anvil: Crouch and interact with the Forging Anvil while holding heated iron to trigger a forging mini-game. Hit the green zone to produce a Tempered Steel ingot. Miss it and the iron is spent.

Anvil upkeep: The Forging Anvil degrades visually through three damage stages — every 5 successful forges advances the damage. Once fully worn down, it breaks entirely. Repair a damaged anvil by crouching and interacting with it while holding iron ingots (4 ingots per damage stage restored).

The Forging Glove itself can also be purchased from the Siege Engineer if you'd rather trade for it than craft it yourself.

BOSSES

THE TYRANT

This boss cannot be summoned; he will actively hunt you once you complete the necessary progression thresholds (Defeating the War Ravager, completing a Difficulty 5 Siege, and defeating the Forsaken Knight).

War Grace Period: Added a delayed letter mechanic after completing the threshold, granting a brief window of preparation before war is officially declared.

Invasion Logic: The Tyrant's invasion event must now explicitly trigger directly at the player's castle.

Upgraded Combat: Features fixed animations, brand-new chat lines, and upgraded combat maneuvers.

Loot Balance Overhaul: Now explicitly drops two guaranteed special items along with crests and standard loot: The Summoning Bell (summons 4 Templars every 60 seconds) and the Repeating Crossbow. The coveted Crown of Domination now features a balanced 50/50 drop chance.

THE WAR RAVAGER - introducing the first boss of sieged! This beast is summoned via burning any banner with flint and steel then sounding a horn next to it. It has 4 pillagers mounted on its back providing cover fire while the war ravager wrecks havoc from below. To prepare for this battle you will need the strongest equipment and the strongest friends and army to take down this foul beast of the land!

Now drops the Ravager Flail and a reworked War Horn that buffs surrounding units.

The Forsaken Knight (NEW) - Find the knight in mountainous biomes within his own custom structure, the Forsaken Castle. Dormant and immune until you step too close. Bring your best allies and your finest armor.

Fixed animations. Drops his signature armor set featuring a unique ability: crouch and jump to convert select enemy mobs into Villager counterparts (e.g., Vanquishers turn into Templars). This ability includes a balance cooldown.

Finishing Blows: Custom death animations added for all bosses.

Items & Mechanics

The Ledger

Your command center for building a medieval kingdom. The Ledger is a four-tab interface covering everything from getting started to managing your full military and siege progression.

The Army tab hosts a military skill tree with emerald and XP costs. Veteran Training unlocks Warder upgrades and boosts their health; branching into Iron Discipline and Falconry unlocks elite unit promotions; Heavy Cavalry and War Brotherhood sit at the top, granting Strength and Speed to all nearby tamed units at once.

The Siege tab chains your siege weapon unlocks sequentially, from the Siege Cart up through the Trebuchet, each requiring a minimum castle tier and a Siege Engineer stationed within your territory.

The Quest tab tracks your boss defeat list, showing which targets still need to be brought down.

Costs scale with power: early unlocks run 16–32 emeralds, while the highest tiers can reach 96 emeralds and multiple XP levels. Hold a Crest of Knowledge on your Castle Flag to receive a 25% discount across all purchases.

Castle Claim Mechanics

Once you've received your Castle Flag from the Monarch, you're free to claim any unclaimed territory as your own! Place the flag to establish your kingdom. In the flag menu, you'll find a variety of options to manage and grow your realm.

Rule wisely and expand your influence, but beware: the stronger your kingdom becomes, the bigger a target you paint on your back. Power attracts enemies, and the Tyrant King is always watching.

Banners & Customization:

Added the Wayfinder castle banner style option.

Added a cosmetic banner flag item that changes colors upon interaction. Units are able to hold these colored flags.

There is new Cosmetic castle banner styles to choose from when defeating bosses Peace, Redemption, and Victory

Castle Crest Mechanics

Once you've received your Crest from the Monarch, interact with it on the Castle Flag to activate its power! Each Crest carries a description of its effects in the item lore, so read carefully before committing.

Warning: A kingdom can only bear one Crest at a time. To remove or change a Crest, you must sacrifice an Empty Crest, a hefty price to pay. Choose wisely and ensure your settlement is where you want to establish your kingdom before applying a Crest. This decision will shape your realm's destiny!

War Declaration

Throw this item on a parrot, and a crow will spawn. You'll receive a prompt to declare war on an enemy, type their name and watch the title animation appear on screen! To win a war, you must either defeat the enemy in combat yourself or sign a peace treaty when both of you are under the same crow.

...Et tu, Brutus?

Surrender System (NEW):

Trigger a Surrender Flag interaction during PvP or PvE sieges. Losing players must choose between daily or one-time expense payments alongside other victor requirements. A physical messenger will arrive at the player's base to collect the toll; killing the messenger triggers an immediate raid or war.

Arrow Rain

This item is a throwable item obtained from the banner guard. Throw this time with tamed falconers and watch as they rain arrows! This item doesn't have a long range but the more falconers you have the more arrows you'll devastate your opponent with!

The War Horn

This item is given to you when you defeat the War Ravager Summon 2 tamed warders instantly to fight for you in battle with a 60 second cool down you can progressively build up your armies to take down your enemies!

Crown of Dominion

The ultimate reward for the true kings of the server. This unique artifact is awarded only to the first player to complete a Difficulty 5 siege in your world.

Effects:

Grants +10 hearts (double health) to the wearer

Upon death, drops as a player head inscribed with the fallen champion's name and date of death

One-time award - once claimed by a player, it cannot be obtained again in subsequent Difficulty 5 sieges

Reset Command: /scriptevent sieged:resetcrown (if you want to reset the crown availability in your server/world)

Firing Staff

The essential tool for siege warfare. Interact with your siege engines using the Firing Staff to launch attacks.

Castle Siege System

Approach any pillager castle or fort and sound a horn to trigger a siege. Wave after wave of enemies will spawn to defend their stronghold. Drink an ominous bottle before starting for increased difficulty.

Field Battles

Occasionally, a field battle will erupt in your area, a medium-scale clash between Illagers and Villagers fighting for control. Aid the Villagers, turn the tide of combat, and claim the battlefield bounty as your reward!

But proceed with caution: these battles are chaotic and deadly. Even seasoned warriors can fall in the heat of combat. Choose your moment to strike wisely.

Naval Battles: When near water, naval battles will trigger instead of field battles, spawning 2 to 4 opposing Illager and Villager ships. (Tip: Increase simulation distance if spawning issues occur).

Ambush!

in forested biomes desert biomes and mesa biomes you may encounter a rustling of levies nearby beware this is not natures calling this is an ambush!

In Game Settings

Customize your Sieged experience with the new settings toggle item! Craft this tool to enable or disable specific features of the addon, including siege mechanics, field battles, siege weapon explosion damage, and more. Tailor the gameplay to match your preferred playstyle!
