[1.9.4-1.10.2] [Forge] The Earth Mod - 1:95 scale! Minecraft Mod

What does it do?

The Earth Mod has one main feature, The Earth.
It adds in a new World Type, which can be accessed by clicking through the world types when generating a new world. E.G (Default, Superflat, Large Biomes, Customized...)
This World Type creates a 1:95 replica of the Earth, in Minecraft. That means the world generated is 432000x216000 blocks in size. All the generation is based on real Earth data, from various sources.

How do I get around?

Getting around in a 432000x216000 world would normally be tricky, but not with this mod. This mod adds a new command '/tplatlong'. This command allows you to teleport to any given latitude longitude coordinate. How do you get these coordinates? The easiest way is to use Google Maps. Go to maps.google.com, click on the point you want to go to, copy and paste the coordinates it shows and paste those next to the command, but without the comma. For example: '/tplatlong 0.54154 45.54254'

You can also press 'P' on your keyboard and type in an address to teleport there!

I want to know where I am in the world!

There is a gui for that, and it does more than just that. If you press 'K' (default) on your keyboard, a GUI will pop up. This will show your latitude and longitude, the street address you are at, and a Google Streetview Image of where you are, and where you are looking.

Why not just download a MC World file? Why a mod?

There are a few reasons for this.
1 - Minecraft World of this size would be terabytes in size, this mod generates it on the fly, so your disk storage only has to store wherever you have been on Earth.
2 - This allows for more 'randomization', your world can be a little bit different each time, and compatibility with any mod generation, like ore generation.

as some people said previously, it would be very nice for you to also have it be in 1.7.10, but also 1.12.2.

Considering that those two versions have a ton of mods already available for them. (most mod developers don't even bother with versions in-between. Most only bother with 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, so you will be hard pressed to find modpacks for versions like 1.8 and 1.9, or 1.10 and 1.11 because all the good mods for modpacks like Melanism or Galacticraft, Thaumcraft and IC2 are not available for version inbetween 1.7.10 and 1.12.2. Or if they are, support is completely dropped. 1.7.10 and 1.12.2 are the only good versions to mod.)

I think this is brilliant. The fact that you got the whole world to a 1:95 scale and even added in block height is truly fantastic.

My only big problem is the biomes. For example, every plains state is in a "forest" biome, with the exception of Kansas and eastern Colorado. I don't know about you, but when I'm driving through North Dakota, it surely doesn't seem like a forest to me. Meanwhile, Yellowstone National Park is in a plains biome when Yellowstone is also considered a national forest. Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and all these other plans states should be plain biomes in my opinion.

However, I think that what you did was truly magnificent, so I am going to give you a diamond.

Missouri is in the great plains, yet 90% of Missouri is a frikkin forest, trees as far as the eye can see. Same with Arkansas and Oklahoma in some parts. Iowa is also 90% Trees.

I'm working on making the terrain closer to reality, so lakes and caves are definitely a priority.
