But that's not your fault, it's Jeb's fault for adding them and the consoomers' fault for endorsing them.
Jappa is the lead artist behind the 1.17 textures, and behind the look of the pointed dripstone, rather than Jeb, and the Mojang employee developing them is Adrian if I'm not mistaken. And the community isn't too fond of the way the dripstone looks now, either. The community wants the pointed dripstone to have a fully fledged model rather than two crossed planes, but Jappa doesn't appear to want to give it a model, which goes against the current consistency of how crossed plane blocks and modeled blocks work ingame.
I thought Adrian was the developer working on the pointed dripstones, but I believe that I may be wrong on that, as it seems like Henrik Kniberg is the dev who is actually working on them.
