side note: 1 bit stackable memory is the best name I could come up with for this, although it does not have a completely valid name, it is still worthwhile.
this system consists of three elements:
1. the 7 tick pulse limitor: you can make your own one of these, I just left it in there to remind people that it requires a 7 tick input
2. the transfer lines: this line of repeaters is what transfers the signal from row to row. You can put as many memory banks as you want in a row, but you need this transfer line to take the 7 ticks from one row to the next.
3. the memory bank: a simple piston RS-NOR latch with a pretty input on top it what you've got here. you might also see the line that transfers the signal along the row. if the memory banks are lined up in a row end to end, you can get 4 memory banks in before you need a repeater (though this extra tick is always easy to fix if you know what you're doing)
