After playing in survival on a survival server that had my coconuts creations and my corn creations, I realized that there was one task that was something I knew I needed to do, but always forgot about: Picking up saplings and replanting the tree. So, I decided to make this one command creation that plants saplings right as they fall from the tree. This command even has a bonus feature that places apples on the ground too, which can be broken to pick up the apple! To get the command, click on Minecraft World Save, or Pastebin.
Features:
-Places saplings on grass, dirt, and course dirt.
-Works with all sapling types.
-Sapling items will not place if they would be replacing another sapling.
-Apples that are on grass, dirt, or course dirt will be placed. They can then be picked up by breaking them.
-There is a glass block on the machine beside a command block that enables apple blocks. You can break the command block behind it if you do not want the apple blocks enabled.
This command is very simple to install. It will build the machine to the east of the command block, so you should put the command block in the west side of the spawn chunk. Make sure to place the power source for the command on the side of the block. Not on top!
