Ore WarZ
This is a simple minigame that explains all how to play in the map. The download link is below. However if you are planning on recording this map I suggest reminding yourself this map is still in beta testing and may have bugs. This minigame is a PvP minigame that involves powerups. To get the powerups you must place your teams ore above the beacon beam. This minigame is played with 2-16 people but i suggest playing it will 4-16 people. There are a few annoying things in this map because it is the beta version. This requires snapshot 14w06b.

How To Play

This is a very simple but fun game to play. Anyone can play and learn how to play in seconds. There is a little bit of redstone lag but not much. Hopefully in later versions I will be able to reduce the redstone used in this map. How you play is you spawn in the map running you through a series of commands resetting and preparing the map. These commands will teleport you to the spawn and change you to adventure mode. You then can find the button to reset the map, and the button to receive the rule/how to play book;However, If you read this thread you won't be needing that. You and your friends, or other players, must pick a team. These teams can have 1-4 people on them(It can be more than 4 but I suggest 4 people per team in this minigame). You will receive a couple items to help you play the map. You will all eventually end up in a small room together. Once all players are in the room you can then push the start button. All the players will go to the arena for battle.
Once in the arena the players must PvP each other until they reach 3 deaths. Once a player reaches three deaths they become a spectator. Your weapon is your teams Ore that you receive at the spawn of the map. It is enchanted with sharpness to for damage and knockback to keep enemies away from you. There is a twist to this PvP map. You can achieve power ups, or potion effects, from points on the map. If you teams ore is above a certain beacon you will receive a certain effect. This effect can be stolen from other teams by destroying the ore and placing their teams ore above the beacon beam. Each teams pickaxe destroys the ores instantly. This game will get updates will new maps new ideas and more. Please provide bugs on this thread and feedback on how I can improve the map Thank you.
