The 1K8 Automatic Storage System is the third incarnation of my automatic general and bulk sorting and storage system.
It accepts single item or bulk item inputs and automatically sorts them into the slice you assigned it to. Non assigned items and non stackable items are sorted into overflow chests.
The system has been left intentionally bare to allow for interface customization and style preferences.
Solid blocks can be replaced with other solid blocks with the same properties. Glass can be replaced with any glass colour or any solid block of your choice.
The system can store 1008 unique stackable (64 or 16) items in general storage and 84 unique items into bulk storage.
More details for configuration and usage can be found in the world download provided. The game version is 1.20.4.

it goes up into a chest and doesn’t go anywhere. if someone could help that would be great.
I m not sure if its because I'm on a server but the input for the shulker and items keep braking (the observer that is pushup up with the sticky piston just doesn't come back down after it drops all the items) but only sometimes.
I've also been having the issue of if i put a bulk amount of items in the input then half will go into output side. (ex. i put 2 stacks of cobble stone in the input and only half gets sorted and the other stack is in the output chests).
please let me know if there is anything i can do to fix it other than just putting them back in the input for a second round. thank you!
i have a question though, when putting multiple shulkers on the bulk input chest, only the first shulker gets placed and sorted while the other shulkers (with items inside) gets placed but immediately removed without dispensing the items. how do i fix it?
That is by far my biggest storage project i have ever built.
I managed to solve the problem after doing some research!
I found the tutorial by Kale that features the same unloader design and noticed that was one small difference to the one in this project. To fix the problem leading to immediate removal of shulker boxes after the first one finished unloading, you just have to replace the dispenser underneath the dispenser that places the shulker boxes with an observer.

[Edit:] There also is a little mistake regarding the chests that are connected to the shulker unloader. The upper chest needs to be connected to the one below and the left one of the two hoppers underneath the lower chest is pointing down instead of into the other hopper.
