Because the tools/mods I use are unstable/unfinished for newer versions. The map will work in newer versions (pre 1.17, not sure how height limit changes will affect compatibility), it just doesn't use any blocks or features from those versions.

BEDROCK EDITION: This map was made for Java. I don't use Bedrock so I don't know how, but I have been told it is possible to convert my maps to Bedrock. If you are successful please PM me so I can include a section on how to do it.


A 16k x 16k custom map, fully detailed. The culmination of ~2 months of work, on top of years of practice. I intentionally made this map with large open spaces for building, specifically with mods (shoutout Immersive Railroading gang). It is not the most detail dense map I have ever made, as I hope that the map serves as a good backdrop for large builds. There are four large continents. The Northwest continent is mostly a giant sand dune surrounded by desert mountains. This continent also contains savannah and rolling hills with lakes on its Southern edges. The Northeast continent is half a giant swamp and half a rolling redwood forest. The Southwest continent is a long forested continent with a volcanic mountain range running down the center. The Southeast Continent, the largest, contains a large uplifted and tilted plateau on top of a giant flat plain with rivers running through it.

This map is only kind of survival friendly. Overworld structures are not present, though the Nether and the End are default Minecraft generation. You will be able to survive in this world, sure. However, not every single block is available. I built this map with creative/modded experiences in mind.
This project is and always will be free to use. I encourage you to use it for your personal builds, servers, etc., as long as you credit me AND my work is not being used in any way to make money. PLEASE: If you make use this map for something, send me screenshots of your work! The best part of releasing these maps is seeing the amazing things more creative people than I can do with my work.
