The A-10 Thunderbolt II (or Warthog, whichever you prefer) is the primary close air support aircraft for the United States Airforce. It's primary role in any war is to decimate any hostile target on the ground, most specifically, tanks. Its design put firepower in mind, as well as its ability to fly low to the ground, and still be able to fly in formation.
A-10 Warthogs (calling it that because of my personal preference) can be armed with multiple different kinds of bombs and missiles, and has the ability to direct laser guided bombs, and infrared missiles. But of all of its weapons, its most famous one is the GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling gun (the one on the nose of the plane). The gun is capable of firing over 4000 rounds a minute, with 30mm rounds. Armour was also put in mind when the A-10 was developed. The plane has enough armour to be able to withstand a hit from an Anti-Air gun.
Now, something to note when it comes to this build. Yes, I know I'm missing the gatling gun at the front. I avoided the gun because I found it messed up the overall look of the nose, which on its own is a very awkward thing to build. I have attempted this build in the past, and was never able to get it correct, mainly because of the way the nose was.
