The Valkyrie SSTO-TAV-37 B-Class Shuttlecraft (or the short form, the Valkyrie), is the RDA's main cargo transport craft, bringing equipment to the surface of pandora from the ISV Venture Star, one of many starships used to bring equipment to and from earth. There are two Valkyrie shuttles on each starship.
The Valkyrie shuttle was designed with a VTOL capabilities in mind, giving it the ability to land and take off in remote areas. This ability can be seen at the beginning of James Cameron's "Avatar", as the shuttle lands at "Hells Gate", the main base for the RDA. The Valkyrie was also designed with the ability to launch into orbit with only a single stage. This is made possible by the dual mode fusion engines.
Now for my builders comments. For this build, I actually had to find a 3D model on google sketch-up to base this build off of, because of the low amount of pictures on the web. This proved to be useful to me, because it gave me a view from all angles. Also, you may note that I used Chunky for the first time, and this was interesting to use, but I had to leave it to only one rendered picture, because the program kept crashing on me.
Anyways guys, thanks for checking the build out, and all your support! Remember, I do take requests, so if you have something that you would like to have built, fire away!
