During the Cold War, the SR-71 was one of the most mysterious planes developed. It was designed to spy on enemy operations from a high altitude, and fly fast enough so it would be able to outrace threats from the ground. Because of its unique look, and mysterious development, it has become one of the most famous planes of all time.

The SR-71 was developed with speed and stealth in mind. Its uniquely designed thrusters give it the ability to fly faster than any other plane developed at the time, and its design is meant to throw off any enemy radar. The SR-71 doesn't have weapons though, because it was designed specifically as a spy plane.

It was used by the US Air Force from 1964 to 1998, and was later replaced by spy satellites.


Now, a couple of things I have to personally say about this build. Yes, I know, the SR-71 been built in minecraft about a billion times, but I figured I'd personally give it a try. Also, this thing was incredibly awkward to take a screenshot of, because of the regular FOV distorting the overall shape of the plane. If you download the model and see it in actual minecraft, it looks a million times better, believe me.
