A FOX'S LIFE STORY

A player named "stevo" has grown bored of his hardcore world. He decides to run a command to make his world more exciting. Unbeknownst to him, however, this command gives all mobs sentient AI.

Maybe you will find the player on one of the three major islands?

the pipe dream diamond disappeared how would I get that back. also how do I get the item that makes it so I don't die in water

If you are talking about the 2nd map:

The pipe dream diamond should still be in the loop, if you go back to the beginning, if not please let me know as that is a severe bug.



There is no item for surviving underwater, but you can activate conduits to do so, each giving a large radius of protection.

it was in the loop but then at one point it disappeared i used Xray i used spectator it's not there anymore. if there is no item them what is the sign in the axolotl cave referring to

Run this command near the pipe dream diamond:execute as @n[​type=marker,tag=diamond] at @s run summon item ~ ~ ~ {PickupDelay:32767,Item:{id:"minecraft:diamond",count:1},Tags:["item","diamond"]}


I'm not sure about the sign, but you'll have to bring an item to activate it there, so that might be it then.

hi there,LegoBr0 i'm blocked at the quest "lost bow" and can't give a new bow i'm on 1.17.1 what this the command please?thanks to this map !

If you had a bow and lost it, you can run:

/item replace entity @e[​type=fox,limit=1,sort=nearest] weapon with bow

and then you can give the bow, sorry for late response.

Love the map. My only issues were the items (gunpowder, iron, etc.) and the boss fight.

Whenever I'm carrying any of the said items just before I pick up a diamond, they get deleted from my inventory, and I can't progress without cheating the items back with commands. To avoid this I've had to drop (Q) the item before grabbing a diamond, and that can be easy to forget. This doesn't happen with emeralds though.

I did not enjoy the boss fight, and cheated to kill it and get to the end. I was playing on singleplayer and felt that at least with that mode the fight wasn't compatible. It was just tedious with "stevo" constantly healing and shooting arrows that are ridiculously hard to dodge as a fox with a player's invisible hitbox. On top of that I can't heal fast enough when the chickens are in a spot where I can get cornered real easily.

Thanks for bringing out the problem with picking up diamonds, in testing we didn't catch this.

For the boss fight I found it best to run as far away when he was in bow mode. If you used the snowball you could at least skip most of a few rounds of healthbars. And the chicken item can be held on to until you need it. It's definitely not an easy boss fight, but most players that playtested it were able to beat it.
