I am very happy to finally be able to call this complete and share my first full-sized finished project with those who may be interested. :) I have been on and off with this since November, with a month and a couple of weeks break in-between then and now. I created this alone, with no help from anyone else.

Originally I built this solely because I wanted to create a world of my own within Minecraft, with no aspirations other than seeing it through and completing something that meant a lot to me personally. After it was finished, I decided to apply for the Angel Block Society with it. Those who play with me on Divine are well aware that I am hesitant when it comes to groups and teams, but to me ABS falls into a category of its own as it a society rather than a team, and simply strives to celebrate individual builders, and contains several of the artists whose worlds inspired me to purchase Minecraft almost two years ago.

This project is best viewed in default without any shaders, and was primarily constructed with night toggled on, though it can be viewed in daylight as well. I recommend checking out all of the screenshots, since they mostly all show different parts of the project, and a good number of things had to be left out due to the 20 screenshot limit. :)

The renders were made by Droolie, Barbarian, Iskillia, RebirthOfShien and DawidG. The project was built on Divine, where everyone has been very kind and supportive. ^-^

I wrote a rather extensive lore section for this that I used in the building process and for my own sake, but in the end I decided it would suit an upload of this kind better to use a shortened version that is more likely to be read.

***Lore***

Monarch, artist, prisoner of her own closed realm, the masked queen paints her world alone. Without fear of shame or failure, she executes on every intention, dream and whimsical desire. It is her world, and no one else's.

Peering into brilliant crystal mirrors, she observes the vast, coloured landscapes of her domain. Her eyes ubiquitous, perched atop tall spires, embroidered in tapestries and carved into the very walls of her monopolis, no detail escapes her. On her behalf, fantastical airships seek out impossible visitors from the outside world.

In a different time, she roamed her world freely, but as her painterly obsession grew, so too did her fascination with the great citadel's singular machinery. Deeper understanding came at the expense of humanity, and bit by bit she perished, until the mask was all that remained. Now she paints, waits, and hopes. Though on a whim her fantasy may end, and with it her domain.
