Aeradian Butterfly - Sanctuary in the Sky

Hello! This is a pretty proud project where I did add a few weird twists to it. I have been wanting to make a mobile home using a butterfly for months now, and it turned out pretty strange but kinda good xD
Supposedly this species is a swallowtail butterfly implanted with two apartments and a landing stinger... That makes complete sense, couldn't you agree? If people do read further into this text, I'm also experimenting whether it's true PMC judges projects "by it's cover", whether most of the diamonds achieved from this project is purely from screenshots, especially the featured photo, or through the originality of my creation (we'll find out in the comments!). So this post is a experimental pun on my part (never enough puns in a lifetime...)
Anyways, enjoy!

FUN FACT: Mimicry in butterflies is common, which allows it to camouflage into its habitat just like chameleons, except it will take generations of evolution and adaption. This protects the butterflies from local predators.

   The screenshots include:
GLSL Shaders Mod, compatible with Minecraft Forge 1.7+
Google SketchUp, free and premium (recommended for modelling and architecture)
Chunky Render, downloadable freeware
Pamplemousse resource pack by MrFruitTree (recommended for modern downloads)

Features:
- Swallowtail Butterfly carrying two upright gyroscope houses, has sting for piercing landing.
Two bedrooms, three bathrooms each house

Living and taxi room, dining area, kitchen
- Librarial study and basement
Semi-japanese decor (altars and wooden furniture)

This is nice! I like how that even that you use reference, you make the wings diagonal instead straight. :)

lol. I won't know that. I did organics but I never do insects. They are now on my list to try for improving my skills now.

So how DOES one use Sketchup in Minecraft?

Well I choose a scale in the the Sketchup relative to minecraft blocks (in this case I used like 1 inch for every 4 blocks etc). I choose a reference image from Google and directly paste it on Sketchup. Then I had to manually draw a zigzag guide line on the wing in Sketchup so that it matches in Minecraft. Don't ask me how long that took. xD
